I like the fact that Gura doesn't stream, despite being the best en vtuber, because it leaves a really interesting power vacuum. She had the capacity to be Ai's successor, and the fact that she doesn't causes the pretty chaotic scene we have now, with tons of people vying for the top, and regular "Gura killers" showing up or being posted.

As it stands now I guess Filian is the one taking the mantle as Ai's successor, with both how massive she is as well as her content being relatively in line with the variety show style Ai had, but you'll still get people asking who she is if you post her. Filian's style of content overlaps a lot with what AI did, but she'll never be a true successor until she learns how to sing.
If she could sing, she would be the undisputed queen, with how many avenues that would open for her, given she has the budget, tech, and connections to just put on entire concerts herself wherever the hell she felt like.

It's kind of like death note, with Near and Mellow. Gura has Ai's idol elements, Filian has her physical entertainer elements, but neither capture the full picture. It's a shame, but that's why I enjoy thinking about the power vacuum so much, it's interesting.

She did a stream thanking myth and her fans for being patient and saying she was going to make this year a strong one. I don't know if I'm the retard for assuming that meant in terms of streaming time but it's almost half a year gone and it's on track to be one of her worst, AGAIN.
No ori song release, no album. Aside from paywalled karaoke events and sponsorships she doesn't appear to be doing anything, and worst of all she doesn't want to share any of it with her fans like she used to. There was a time after a con appearance she would be so hyped up she would do a stream the same day to gush about it, not anymore. She barely even acknowledged the last two holofes, no recap stream, no watchalong.
