Considering most people probably don't cancel membership just because the holomem hasn't been streaming for a while and aren't going to be less likely to buy a holomem's merch because they haven't streamed in a while I would guess that taking a long hiatus or doing the Gura thing of streaming a few times then dropping off the map for a month or so doesn't hit your income that badly, at least not when you have as large a subscriber base as Ame (the numbers might work out differently for a holomem still in the low to mid six-digit sub range.)
