She releases you and gives you a small black box. You run back inside and lock your door, listening to hear if they left. Kanata comes in asking about what happened when she notices the present you have in your hand. Before you could stop her or check for yourself, she takes it from you and opens it, revealing a wedding ring. She graciously accepts the offer, giving you a kiss and a hug, but you still can feel the presence of the dragon girl behind that door. Out of fear, you can only go along with the proposal and enjoy the fleeting moments of security with your now fiance.

Phew. What more to say about this? It was great, but there was one particular moment that sent shivers through me.

Spoilering it for people that don't want to read it:

It was her quiet begging, and the line "Ramming your cock within her, she jolts. No screaming, no...anything. She simply goes limp over the desk, her legs sliding out from beneath her as she struggles to stay standing. Even as she’s dazed and hardly coherent, betrayal washes over her features - the few you can make out. Heartbreak. Good."

This was fantastic. This was the singular point where I thought she was truly broken in - not simply reacting to physical trauma, but mental as well. The ensuing silence as you had your way with her was a sublime description.

If I may, though, the ending felt a tad off; at this point in the story, we're well past the point where much of Anon's initial rage would have been satisfied and he'd be starting to wake up to his senses, so the idea that Anon is an endless font of worldly frustration took me out a tad bit. If Anon goes much further, Matsuri will die. Were I in his position - and discounting the realization of the amount of trouble I'd be in - I'd be shifting gears from breaking her down to moulding her into a better person, be it a pet slave or servant, or making her believe it was truly her fault, whatever.

This is easily one of my favourite works in the archive, and a great change of pace. Thank you!

For a non-monkey paw version, my original idea was that you originally did break up with Kanata, but you told her that she should be free to enjoy herself now. You would give her one final hug before she quietly left your home, leaving you both a bit broken on the inside.

She tells you about the insecurities she had about dating you and assures you that Kanata was just as afraid as you were to be together. Hearing this makes you feel guilty for being so afraid of Kanata and not understanding her first. Coco offers a second chance. She gives you her phone and tells you to be honest about your feelings with her. Seeing a chance to undo your mistake, you dial Kanata's number and confess to her second time.

Anon probably isn't counting too much on her survival. It was written from the perspective of someone who had entered such a blind, hurt-fueled hatred state that trying to make Matsuri understand the sort of pain they were going through - which is impossible barring extreme empathy, seeing as how emotions are something that are impossibly complex and not even hours and hours of discussion can really help in true understanding - took over everything else.
They know Matsuri is hurt, but the extent of their injuries probably isn't exactly on the forefront of their mind; they're an afterthought. All that matters is trying to convey hurt in any way they can, and physically is the most direct method. Everything else is an afterthought.
There's a decent chance Matsuri won't survive. More than that, Anon probably doesn't want Matsuri back. She, in his mind, betrayed his trust. There's a chance that she really is innocent, and all of this is just misdirected, misunderstood fury that he's too angry to see through; I left it intentionally vague as to if she ACTUALLY did something, or if Anon just brought into the rrat out of a fit of jealous anguish.

Yeah pretty much the two ways I can see this being improved is if you followed "show, don't tell" and had scenes where the anon slowly falls into being the ultimate rushia fan. Perhaps with the implication that rushia was already stalking him due to getting their friend out of the hole, and was helping the anon along into becoming what he became. With the 'slip up' Rushia did directly preceding like a scene where the account that was helping him asks why he's so obsessed with Rushia. Of course this would need a restructuring of the story and like a shitload of new words even if you just made it vignette style to show how Anon falls completely into Rushia.
The other way is making the ryona better. Since the ryona is pretty much the "sex scene" here. It's kind of lacking in passion . Unlike the last ryona piece that got posted here it kind of felt lacking in impact and emotion. I hate directly comparing fics but the matsuri ryona fic is pretty much the best example for actual violence done in anger here.
Other than that this was a pretty enjoyable piece that I did like.

A fine opinion, though I feel like Rules of Nature is a little overhyped compared to the rest of the OST. I really like Red Sun or Stains of Time. The Only Thing I Know For Real has been a great aid during fight scenes for awhile, too.

I can relate. I just read through my latest story again and what I realized is that I really did push it out too soon. I wanted to be done with it since it had gone way over how much I actually wanted to write - and while the first 3/5ths of the story I was satisfied with, the rest felt incredibly rushed. Some anon said "Aqua's personality died for the sex" and he was entirely right, so many times while re-reading it I kept cursing at myself for not doing the right thing and injecting the same level of care in the characterization and descriptions as I'm used to.

All in all, good habit to have. I'll do my best to sleep on stories before releasing them.
