I think population/ population density would be more correlated with their subcount than their landmass would.

Gura could house a massive population in that relatively small area. With Gura's obvious naval superiority, she probably dominated trade in the area. Her position there would make that nation very central to all kinds of sea trade routes. With that and her tropical latitude, tons of people would want to live there.

The ID Gul could probably send ships east too, but I have a feeling the waters around Ina would be like the Bermuda Triangle turned up to 11. Going north of Suisonia would probably be impassable or treacherous due to ice.

I decided to go for gen3/gamers but ended up getting so bogged down with the utter nightmare of conflicting and overlapping interests that the regions borders and climates gave it that I ended up deciding to that to hang my hat, and sleep on the issue. I came back to the issue, confronted it again, and realized that the region was even messier than when I last checked. Any who, I've finally started to manage to make heads or tails of the whole thing.

As another anon pointed out, at the time the only country with anything close to a detailed map was the KFP. Apart from that, I only had my own understanding of geology to work off. I estimated the rough wind patterns (you can actually see the north easterly trade winds in my Indog Geopolotic image) and ran on the assumption that, without further evidence, everything was flat, and created a world based on an (admittedly) Flanderized version of what I'd imagine would happen based off the wind patterns alone (wind blow moisture off shore, you get dryer, wind blows moisture in land, you get wetter land). Realistically I should have probably also tried to estimate ocean currents but those take a lot longer to do. If I get more free time, I might sit down and do a Kopen Climate graph for the entire world based off fan geography and start working on how geopolitics would actually develop based off that, but for the time being we don't have enough topographic information, and I don't have enough time, to do that.
