The thing is, if anyone actually gets into Hololive from random side story stuff and comes to see the streams well, they'll be little to nothing like the story-driven thing they were used to and probably not like it. Just a different approach overall.

For people who already like Holo it's like, if that other media exists whatever cool maybe they'll check it out, but it'll be a sideshow to the main platform and it's only a nuisance to try to forcibly mix up the two. The concepts just don't mix very well, with endless hours of live improv/adlib vs strict stories on rails. Vtubers can have lore stuff but it generally isn't treated as much more than an amusing trifle to touch on now and then and that's about it.
