I feel like it's been a natural growth over the last 2-3 months. You've seen them pop in/chat with each other on stream more often and with Kiara being so open (not sure on the other girls because I don't watch much more than Kiara), she talks about when the other girls talk to her about stuff, and that's just the non-yab stuff she can actually tell us about without getting in trouble.
In Kiara's case, I think she saw that the chat/fanbase was a little more receptive to pairings other than TakaMori and her depressive arc ended and she started doing a lot more collabs in general.

The strange part about all this is that the thread had been rather slow for a while, but suddenly got a burst of responses to something that could be misconstrued as 'Kiara is stealing Ina's Humuhumu'. Legit, we had multiple small convos for the last basically day with very little traction, but then suddenly one person posts and it gets 10 replies spazzing out.
