Do you people actually sit down and watch movies "together" with your oshi?

I watch them play all sorts of garbage, but the thought of actually bothering to sync up some crappy movie and watch it while they say a quip here and there is crazy to me

I genuinely despise watchalong, it's a fucking low effort garbage that female streamers overcharge for like prostitutes, they're basically selling themselves as an Escort aka someone who is paid for their company, whatever that may actually entail, or in other word, a Prostitute.

But when I finally gave in I realized that most of the things I was giving my full attention didn't deserve them in the first place, and Marine's commentary and interaction gave me as much enjoyment as the movie itself, instead of taking away from it. NTA but tenet is one of the few movies in the past few years that I had thoroughly enjoyed enough for me to watch multiple times over. The soundtrack, the choreography, the outfits the protagonist used, and the little bits of comedy speckled in bring me back to the movie over and over.

I think Tenet is Nolans weakest movie. The plot is a complete clusterfuck with very little direction. I'll admit the scenes with the turnstile are very well done but it's not a tightly written script by any means. It's a turn your brain off and enjoy it kind of movie which is disappointing from Nolan.

it's the parts were you can see the past affecting the future, and vice versa, that make the movie's (admittedly lackluster) plot flow. Everything is connected and most scenes serve a purpose, even if it's not apparent. The orange tag with the washers at the start, followed at the end of the movie with niel's bag having it, and then maximillian's school bag also having one was a cool moment.
It was an action movie first though, So I do agree the plot wasn't great. But a movie doesn't need to have all that for me to enjoy it.

They make often quite entertaining clips but watching a film literally for someone to talk over it is pretty stupid to me.

Fubuki is great to watch stuff with. I've heard the Space-time collab interaction was really good so I'm seriously considering watching that one. Generally speaking though I think OP is right. The right chuba and movie combo can be great though so I do recommend at least giving it a try for each chuba you care about.

I no longer do but maybe if Pomu does it and it's a movie i plan to watch then maybe. Ame's watchalong of Bladerunner 2049 made me finally sit down and watch it, same with Gura's tokyo godfathers..

I watched Kung Fu Hustle with Ame when I didn't have anything better to do, it was an alright experience.
