What amazes me is how fast Calli works. One she gets the lyrics down, she pretty much locks down the whole song in a matter of 1 week. Given that she doesn't sleep for like 24hrs during that period but still. Maybe that's why it looks bad when we see Gura with nothing. With Kiara - I know she got most of the work done through commissions. So that's that.

If Gura wants to be involved in every step then yeah. And we know how much of a scatterbrain she is. She would list all the things that she likes whether or not it is feasible.

It is relevant though. It explains why people have a distorted expectations towards Gura. The HoloEN are always compared with one another. Do you think I was badmouthing Gura because I said Mori is unexpectedly fast and Gura is a scatterbrain? That's not that bad. If anything, this only explains why she is slow in producing songs. If she's a newbie at it and wants to be involved in every way, her wanting check off certain things on her list (and like I said, we know how much she can list 10 different things at once when she gets so eager so being a scatterbrain ain't gonna help) will only delay the process. It's not bad. It will just make things longer. And it's not as if she has a deadline for this.

Based on her previous roommate songs, she's very western.

Mori and Kiara had a very defined taste in music already. I think the only reason why Mori's music is evolving is because she gets to work with a producer now. With Gura, I don't know man. The songs she likes are emotional quite songs or viral meme songs. I wouldn't be surprised if her first songs sounds like mumford and sons produced it.

Calli does her own lyrics, she works with Japanese people that don't even speak English. The actual music is a mix of her and the people she hires/works with. Kiara just basically buys songs and adds in any English lyrics if there are any. Gura also does have some songwriting experience from her former persona.

I mean, if you're good, you can even make a good product in a short time span, like Denzel Curry and Kenny Beats who made an entire (really good) album in one day.
Some people are quicker, others take longer to craft something, especially if they're obsessive or have a very particular vision.
Being one or the other isn't impressive and neither is really better.
When comparing different artists, of course -- when comparing works by one artist, it becomes more relevant.

It's the one genre she hasn't unleashed yet in any of her karaoke, and it's one thing we "know" she can do. I think she'd floor a lot of people with a hard core rap song.

Setting that aside, I think something like 80's adult contemporary hits her sweet spot perfectly; something Phil Collins would be happy doing. Nothing hard rock or metal, just no voice for it.

Probably the most likely, since outside of large collabs she's only really worked with english speaking holos, though this one is countered a bit by the fact that she apparently talks with Shion on discord, and I don't think Shion can speak english on a conversational level, if I'm wrong here please correct me though.

Main idea here is that either her or Cover saw what happened with the Among Us collab where rabbid gura fans decided to attack Lofi and decided to halt future non-EN collabs. Main counter argument to this is that the same thing happened with Ame's fans going after Haachama and Ame still streams with non-EN holos on occasion, though if Gura decided to halt them herself then this is likely a moot point.
