/vt/ league manager here, sorry for not being around recently, had a LOT of IRL and not so IRL reps to do last week. I've been getting everything around to do the modeling for the aesthetics over the next week, and here's what I have as far as ideas and such. Note that I'm missing a few that I know everyone agreed on, but my brain is leaking out of my ears so forgive me.
Also, I've located a pretty good Koikatsu model for Mori that I think is the one I'll end up using, as the others I've found aren't as nice at all. If anyone can point me towards something better, please do.

"Ugh..why can't I focus". Calli frustratedly sighs as she scribbles the lyrics she just wrote. Her notepad now full of words emanating a mystery yet familiar feeling to the Grim reaper's first apprentice. The feeling of one's first love.
The lyrics are all about a girl. A girl named Ninomae Inanis the Ancient One's one and only Eldritch priestess and Calliope Mori's genmate. She has been writing for about 2 hours now but all she can think of was the girl that's kept her distracted for the past months. She hasn't been able to hang out with her genmates or stream much because of how busy she is and being distracted doesn't help one bit.
She looks at her notepad and cringes rereading them. Calli was asked by her friend to write lyrics for her but the theme her friend wanted it to be was all about struggles in life... Meanwhile, Calli, on the other hand, has other things occupying her mind. Oh, fuck it. It might as well be a love song, I need to release this shit I'm feeling, or else I'm gonna go crazy. Calli thought as she grabbed her phone, contacting her friend about the lyrics.
And no, she still hasn't confessed her feelings to Ina yet after all these years but she promised herself she won't until she fixes herself. This is just one of those months all of Calli's bottled-up feelings reached their limits and that's why she's stressed right now. No one also knew about her feelings for Ina, but that's okay, it'll pass and everything will remain normal again as per the usual at least that's what the reaper thought
She looked at her clock. it reads 11:30 pm
Shit, I need to get this done by tonight Calli thought as she saw the confirmation from her friend. Sipping on her monster energy drink, she gets into serious mode.
Calli did manage to finish writing the lyrics for her friend and decided to finish her parts on the other projects she's working on because she still has "time" to, that might not be the best idea because after finishing it all at 4 am, she immediately passed out from exhaustion.

*Discord ringtone call*

Calli was abruptly woken up by a call from discord. Groaning as her body and head ache like hell while her throat is as dry as the Sahara desert. She feels like shit. It took a minute to open her heavy eyes, momentarily looking for her phone. While still in her dreamland, she answers the call not caring enough to check who called her this early in the morning. (It was 9 am)

"Hello?" Calli answered the call with a hoarse and deep voice.

".....Hi good morning Calli" Ina thought the reaper has already woken up, not expecting to be greeted by Calli's morning voice. Her delay in response confuses the reaper

"Ina..? You...good over there?" Calli groggily replied, it's been weeks since they talked to each other like this.

"Y-yeah, just thought you're already awake, I'm sorry for waking you up," Ina said remembering what she called Calli for

'Hmm… It's okay... Why are you calling so early in the morning anyway, Ina?" Calli just shrugs it off and decided to get directly to the point
"I'm sorry for having to wake you up for this but this is important.." Ina replied, her voice trailing

"Okay… what's it about?" Calli says before massaging her temple to lessen the pain her headache is giving her at the moment

"Which do you prefer: Pancakes or waffles?"

Calli groans at her question, making Ina chuckle. The priestess often calls Calli randomly and will say the randomest things ever but Calli doesn't mind it one bit, if anything she's happy that Ina is comfortable with her doing this.

"Ina.. did you really just wake me up for this-" her words cut off as her throat let out a few heavy coughs that have been wanting to let go since earlier, this, however, alerts the priestess.

"Calli? Are you okay?" Says Ina with a worried tone, her thought on breakfast completely washed away
Calli reached for her water bottle near her bed side and immediately drank it. Clearing her throat she replied "Yeah I'm good… just a little sick"
"Do you want me to come…visit you?"
Her house and Ina's are only a 15 minute drive so it's pretty close
"No it's okay Ina, you don't need to. I'm fine, just need a little more rest" Calli assured Ina but it didn't sound reassuring to the girl at all.
"I'm going to your house whether you like it or not. You have been neglecting your health and overworking yourself for the past months' Calli... I'm worried for you" Ina said sternly, her voice mixed with worry.
The girl can only sigh in defeat not wanting to argue anymore "... Okay". Honestly, Calli wants to be with someone right now, she hasn't hung out with her friends for the fast weeks and also she misses Ina the most right now.

Ina chuckled when she heard Calli whine at her teasing. "I know, I know, I was just teasing you Calli. I know you're always a workaholic business lady but please do take care of yourself"

Ina ended the call
The grim reaper layed on her bed feeling exhausted, she feels happy being able to talk to Ina again but she can feel her emotions and energy being drained after the call.

Figures. It's time to take those meds again but not before eating something which she doesn't have the appetite to do.
She applied cooling aids in her forehead to reduce the headache she's feeling but it doesn't change the fact that she's still dizzy. She just laid on her bed to pass the time waiting for Ina.
Calli reminisces about how they used to be so awkward around each other before she got the courage to invite Ina to their local bookstore (because she got lost going there one time). They discovered that they had similar tastes in a lot of things, they talked about their favorite manga, genres in books, anime, literature etc. Laughs and jokes are exchanged as they enthusiastically talk about their likes and dislikes, getting to know each other better but time passes by quickly as they are having fun and before they know it, it's night time. They spend the evening in a restaurant eating dinner and talking more, before finally calling it a night. Calli couldn't stop smiling on her way home, she was so happy that day but the following days made her even more happy as they got closer each passing day leading to what they are right now.
Calli's thoughts was cut short when she heard a doorbell

Must be Ina. She got up and headed to the door.

Opening the door she was greeted by a priestess wearing a cute simple outfit of a T-shirt with a picture of death printed on it, then paired with blue jeans while carrying two plastic bags in either hand.

Wow, she's really beautiful in any clothes Calli thought staring at the priestess

"Welcome, Come in, Ina" Opening the door wider for Ina and grabbing the plastic bags in her hand as they proceeded to the kitchen, putting the items inside the fridge.

"I bought you sweets Calli"

"Thank you, Ina, I didn't know that.."

"That I know you like sweets? I mean it's easy to tell" Ina said smiling while looking up to the reaper who was also staring at Ina at the kitchen counter.

They stared at each other for a while before Ina break the silence

"What do you wanna eat, Calli? Is your head still aching?"

"It's not as bad as before…but I do kinda want a chicken soup right now"

"Oh, you mean a kiara soup?" Ina replied chuckling at her joke making Calli smile at the process

"Yeah, I want any soup as long as it's made by you, you make the best soup Ina"

"T-thank you, I'll go make your soup right now" her face was a little flustered by Calli's compliment. People may always call the reaper a tsundere but Calli is really honest and sincere in giving compliments and sometimes she just doesn't know how to react to them.
"Hmmm... Okay" Calli smiles looking at the priestess

Calli sat on the kitchen stool, patiently watched Ina's back as she cooked, wearing an apron.
"Do you need help?"

"No, it's okay it's almost done anyway"

"Hmmm.." The reaper got up from her seat and walked towards Ina's back and hugged her from behind burying her face in the smaller girl's shoulder.

Ina froze for a bit by the sudden touch but deliberately relaxed. "What's the problem Calli?"

"Nothing, I just wanna hug you if that's okay"

Ina smiles hearing this as she leaned into Calli's touch. "Of course it is"

They stayed at that position for a while with Calli nuzzling her face in the crook of Ina's neck.

Ina gently tapped the taller girl's hair "Calli, after you eat we can resume cuddling at the sofa. That sounds good to you?"

"...Okay"

The priestess knows that Calli tends to be clingy especially when she's sick so this is a normal occurrence for the her and she didn't really mind having a sick Calli be this touchy, in retrospect it's a blessing because the reaper isn't as clingy as the other girls, more so it's rare for her to act like this.
After Ina served the food at the kitchen table, Calli ate the soup at a leisurely pace, taking her time as Ina went to wash the dishes.

After they finished washing the dishes and eating. They snuggle up to the couch, hugging each other with a blanket covering both of them as they were let a movie play in the living room's TV, not really paying attention to it
Ina was just watching the movie playing as she heard the heavy breathing of the girl beside her.

Calli looked so peaceful and innocent as her chest went up and down as she breathed. Ina placed her palm on Calli's neck as she checked the girl's temperature and thankfully her fever had gone down.
Ina was just brushing the pink girl's hair when she mumbled something "Ina.. Can you….know stay here…"

Ina chuckled at the reaper's sleep talking "Sure, i'll be here until tonight"

Ina can't help but admire the reaper's sleeping face, she looks at peace, resting without a care in the world which she can't always do due to her busy schedule but even after her busy schedule, the reaper doesn't forget to come to Ina's streams to watch her and send supporting words,

Anybody else think the state of EN2 antis are pretty sad? In terms of pure entertainment value the only thing that has come close is that one Mumei anti conspirtard that birthed luthorposting, Fauna antis literally only have one gimmick and seemed to have fucked off once everyone started ignoring them through uuuposting and just resort to making bait threads instead, and those two seem to have the most dangerous antis in terms of destructive power. The other three don't really seem have any notable antis outside the usual, besides Susan being Sana's biggest anti.

Mori and the others really did give them plenty of prep on how to handle this stuff, didn't they?

I'd like to see Mori/Gura/Ina desu. Ina gets along with anyone and adjusts very well so the core bone bros dynamic will be there still. Kiara being thrown in the mix with those two would likely take away from it a bit. I think it's best when she's 1-on-1 with Mori, or with Mori + Ina. Mori/Gura/Kronii would be interesting since gura's said she wants to mess with kronii/intentionally annoy her, so it'd just be gura in pure samegaki mode messing with the other two. My headcanon is that Myth was brought together mostly as a means to keep an eye on each of them by Cover, who's already wrangled a large of group of other supernaturally powerful or otherwise highly eccentric women, hence why they have three more than likely overqualified managers in Enma (an ordinary woman, but the sword she carries around can probably pull some interdimensional natural law-bending bullshit the likes of Mori and Ina are already hyperaware of), Jenma (a skilled administrator angel, probably hailing from the same place as Kanata), and J-chad (former prize fighter at Underworld fight clubs despite being mostly human).

Despite being on hiatus, Mori is still keenly aware of the potential threat the Ancient Ones--and Ina, by extension--pose, as well as Ame being a known wildcard who is infamous for flippantly breaking interdimensional time traveling rules. She has a centuries-spanning history with Kiara already, and Gura is notable for being an Atlantean runaway. Mori reports back to Death-sensei on what she knows and learns, being wary of all of them at first, before a year goes by, she drops her guard, and they all become fast friends, which is what Death-sensei had been subtly encouraging her to do from the beginning.

Who is to say Phoenixes aren't like humans in that despite being a part of natural law they overstepped their boundaries? Phoenixes are meant to travel different dimensions. It's my thought that Death-Sensei initially assigned Kiara to Mori as a test of her skill. Kiara being the last Phoenix in this timeline (as her debut stated). Through Kiara's own ability she died and came back to this dimension and to Mori. Something about that Reaper made Kiara want to see more. Over time, Mori embraced it. Death-Sensei allows it because he sees how it's helped his apprentice grow closer to something and learn to appreciate humanity. Mori used to only see humans at their end and often asked "why bother?", yet she could talk to Kiara about what life actually is.

Mori entered a Reaper caste, either through birth or through her choice (as her family also did?) She had to compete, take classes, pass tests, etc. to show why she should be elevated above the others. It seems like anyone in the Underworld can become a Reaper if they show the right traits. They do age, they do train - possibly from a young age, and they do eventually retire.

The body is what sets Mori apart. That seems like her choice to look as something beautiful and welcoming for those meeting their end. Others might look like a skeleton, more monstrous, demonic, ghostly, or whatever. Mori wants to be liked and accepted, others may want to be feared.

While I always have gone with the idea that there has to be something special about Mori, I liked the idea that any reaper could get a body made like Mori did if they really wanted to, they're just hard or expensive to get made, being an artificial created body with supernatural durability and all.

Her drawing stream was so bad and unintentionally hilarious it became good again. One of my favorite global threads since Council debuted so far. I think she has promise, but she's severely hampered by her nerves. She actually had some good banter in the Jackbox collab and she meshed well with Bae and Kronii in the impromptu Minecraft collab, so it's clear right now she's way more comfortable being part of the group than standing on her own. She seems like Gura if she didn't get the monstrous fanbase right out of the gate. Gura didn't have alot going for her when she started out either but the pressure from that sub count kind of forged her in a trial by fire.
