The issue is with the 30 fps Switch port in particular, on PC the game is perfectly functional (even if the menus are a little sluggish) with an audio bug that causes the wisp power music not to play sometimes being the biggest issue. But Korone has a Switch and probably doesn't use the Epic store, so I guess this is a cause for concern.

Even the Switch port of Colors is better than that garbage game. People pretend that SA1 changed the series forever but it was actually pretty faithful of the original games and its mechanics. Not perfect but the foundation was there for a great sequel. Then SA2 came along and put the Sonic series into mediocrity for eternity with only decent games like Generations, Colors and Mania appearing every so often.

The game has a memory leak on Switch and doesn't unload assets from the level select map. Going to multiple maps before opening a level causes the glitch, but nobody would do that unless they're a speed runner trying to unlock all the wisps as early as possible.

All of the seizure clips are from a guy using Yuzu. The game has issues but its not sonic 06 broken tier. The most you'll see are a few effects being glitchy and some game crashes

Imagine still buying the shitty Switch version of games and getting shocked every single time that the port isn't very good. And no I'm not excusing Sega's shitty management here or saying the port shouldn't have been delayed. I'm saying stop buying Switch ports at all if you want a decent experience. Even when the game runs decently the framerate is cut in half and the devs have to frantically downgrade the visuals as much as possible to even get almost any 3d game to run at a stable 30 fps.

Once the bugs get ironed out across all platforms, Ultimate actually is a better version of Colors unlike say SADX where only the Chao garden is actually better. The sweet spot homing attack allows you to get boost energy on every stage semi-regularly which isn't possible with the original at all. The Ghost wisp is as fun to use and easy to control as the Spike and Drill wisps and let you break the normal physics of the game (in a legitimate manner) and is well integrated into the game across many levels in 5 worlds. Customization with the collectable park tokens is also a neat feature. In other words, don't let Nintenofags gaslight you on a fun game.
