These really don't work in my opinion. Having a script written by a jap and delivered by ENs are the obvious reasons. The artstyle and videos are nice, but they shouldn't really cross these girls over like this because it's so disjointed. For the english side it would work if, for example, they animated these in the same way but with a script written by a native english speaker and delivered by EN/ID Holos. It would be far more natural. As opposed to this which feels like there's two completely different worlds going on.

I'm going to drop a red pill on you. A significant part of the reason why english dubs of anime always sound bad is because the script is badly translated/localized to english. I know puritans will scream to high heaven about keeping the translation as accurate as possible and localization is bad and should be avoided at all costs but that is precisely why english dubs sound like awkward, stilted, flat dogshit. It's not the solely the voice actors failings, it's also the horrible script they are given to read. Even amazing actors can fail to deliver convincing performances if they're giving a mangled mess of a script, and that's what 90% of all translated scripts end up being. You know why it always sounds so awkward in english dubs when they say japanese honorrifics? You know why it's cringe to hear characters refer to their siblings as "bro" or "sis"? That's because that kind of speech doesn't exist in english, so it sounds forced and unnatural. Because it is. My go to example for awkward translation is Devil May Cry, near the end when Dante is holding the lifeless body of his mother, he cries out "I should have been the one to fill your dark soul with light". I'm sure in japanese that sounds downright poetic, but in english it is just the cringest shit you could hear because no native english speaker that isn't a fucking edgelord autist would ever use that combination of words to convey that kind of sentiment.

tl;dr english dubs would be better if they got native english speakers to rewrite the scripts instead of doing near literal translations.

It's "better" than the first, if you can consider going from a 3/10 to a 4/10 as improvement.
Importantly, it really feels to me like management is intentionally telling Gura and Ina to deliver their lines so slowly and unnaturally, in an attempt to make it easier for JOPs. I know for a fact that Gura can deliver those lines with so much more passion, but it would probably be too much for A-chan/their translators. Which is a shame because Marine really is giving it some good effort.

I'm a pretty optimistic person anon. I give the benefit of the doubt. I don't enjoy the tribalfagging and the ironic shitposting which is just shitposting, etc. I say all that to try and give some merit to this feedback.

The script is very obviously Japanese because the punchlines, even the ones said by Ina and Gura, are all common in Japanese humor. They also really put Gura in the spotlight here, because the JP bros love her. Maybe it's for the best, because Gura's delivery sounded natural (despite the bizarre english), but Ina's delivery is pretty flat. Maybe she needs practice, maybe she was nervous, maybe that's just how she is, but that's how it sounded. She also gets the EN debuff because we're all very fluent in English so we can pick up on nuances of tone, where the same thing could be happening with Marine and Aqua and we have no idea. I think the cross collab is good for bridging, it just needs to be improved

The combo of these 4 confuses me.
Holodeath makes sense since they're all different aspects of death
Holobird makes sense to, they're all different birds.
With these 4 it just seems a bit odd, Marine makes sense, she's a pirate, obviously gura since she's a shark, but Aqua is supposed to be a cosplayer and saying Ina is an octopus is kind of stretching it.

Perhaps I'm ready to much into it, just feels odd to see these 4 specifically in a group.

The two genuinely funny bits were the visual gag of Gura using her teeth for carpentry purposes and Marine strongly suggesting she'll drink Aqua's pee. The idea of Aqua not dealing well with not having internet to stream is a genuinely funny idea but the execution was pretty flat.
I think it's a good first pass at something like this, I can only imagine writing a bilingual skit is insanely difficult. They shouldn't stop, though maybe they could think about finding someone that is talented at this kind of thing to help out if they aren't doing that already.
