If anything members is the thing NijiEN does the best in relatively. They still get way way less because they have a fraction of the viewers but both NijiEN and council have had membership opening streams and for council they have gotten between 1.4k and 5k and for Nijien they have opened to from 1k to 1.6k. So it is pretty crazy that Pomu had more members after her membership stream than Baelz, even to Pomu gets way way lower viewers and superchats. Now that is only the membership opening so by now Baelz probably have a lot more members but still. Kronii got the most members and she regulary gets 10-20 times the viewers and superchats as NijiEN but still only 3-5 times the members. I don't really know why NijiEN did so well in members

I think it's because Hololive attracts a more (and larger) casual audience, who aren't aware of other vtuber companies, and who don't care enough to join memberships and are just there for the free content. People who are more "into" vtubers would be more inclined to join memberships, and people who are more "into" vtubers would at least know of NijiEN's existence.

It was very funny seeing them try to act professional and they did well with the whole toilet bit, that was pretty hilarious too. Not to mention Finana actually reading from a Wikipedia article and Pomu and Elira losing their shit laughing muted in the background. I also liked the chat gimmick with the game character
It's a sponsored stream so you should know what to expect. I was there for the girls and to see how they'd handle themselves and I enjoyed it from that angle
