Fundamentally superchats are the "look at me, please give me attention" enablers so naturally all sorts of faggotry follows them, where people try to force or hamhandedly coerce all sorts of awkward things out of the streamer. Some SCs are actually good for asking nifty or even very useful questions that would be useful or amusing for us all to know, and some people like Ghost Rider or Carl make it a fun thing instead of some desperate plea for attention like pic related.

So while I fundamentally am reviled at SCs, it is technically possible some people can make good use of them in a non-cringe way. It's just, most people fucking can't and some people only make monumental embarassments of themselves with them. If they were private and didn't include some message then I doubt many of these people would still donate, but maybe some would as a true show of support.
