According to her stats less than 15% of her streams were Minecraft so unless I'm missing something you didn't even watch her. The model is fine and likely had zero to do with why she wasn't doing as well as she hoped, it's just that the vtuber audience is a lot different than the normie streaming audience. Aside from the top-most people that somewhat mimic larger streamers, most vtuber viewers only watch vtubers and maybe a few esports guys. She probably didn't know how to adapt to that audience.

That's kind of a stereotypical thing about entertainers in general that we act like completely different people on and off screens. Like, to an extent we kind of do, but it's not a 180 degree persona change like popular media makes it out to be.

In the case of idol culture, I mean gravure/jav idols exist. They are still idols despite heavy sexualization, but a different genre of idol if that makes sense. The idea of the 100% pure seiso idol image is not as common with the rise of alternative idols. Sometimes its even consider a stereotype. Even then, all idols have one basic thing in common that bring them together: inspiring others through actions and activities. There basically the girl next door, the family friend, your sister, etc that wishes you to your best while they do their best.

It's so fucking cliche and kind of goes against itself in times but hey, the beauty of idols is anyone can be their own idol.

4 in the afternoon is barely morning, ayy..
1) Now, birthdays are just another day, sometimes with a present or two and a chocolate ganache cake.
2) Not doing a damn thing, sitting back, and playing vidya. Parties are pain.
3) I eat the one cake I get for birthdays per year, and try to eat absolutely no other cake for the year. It's usually pretty good, since chocolate on chocolate. I got a dark-chocolate ice cream cake one year, and that was amazing, but I haven't had it other than the once.
4) No oshi, but, I'd definitely tailor it their tastes. Plushies, figures, art, autographed things, whatever they're into.
5) I... can't remember many of my childhood birthdays at this point, but there's at least one memory of opening JP Pokemon cards, getting stuff from the Fossil set. Since all of my adult birthdays have blended together, I'll have to pick that one.

I think my favorite birthday gift was... well, not a gift, but! When I had gone back to uni after a medical leave year, I did not really know anyone and most of my peers had graduated (except some of them still lived in town looking for work). I was planning on just being depressed and not doing anything that day, and stayed inside... Then I get a knock at my dorm door. I go and open it and there are my graduated friends, cheesecake and balloons in hand, there to wish me a happy birthday. I was really shocked, but it is my favorite memory. I guess the gift was the cheesecake, and I ate on it for a whole week and saved money on food! It was great!

The strangest... My mom bought me a toys playset for my birthady as an adult. I was really confused, but she explained that she knew I liked cartoons, so she got it for me... I think she thought it was a my little pony set, but it was some random thing. It was very sweet.

I prefer gifts from the heart, I suppose. I really like getting things, but it is less about the gift itself and more about, "Oh, this person thought of me enough to get me X, or get me Y..." That makes me so happy. It makes me feel like I am in someone's thoughts even when I am not around.
Other than that, I do prefer a bit of practicality.
