Its a problem of having a high IQ and not realizing it.
Usually can just coast by the seat of your pants until you can't.
Being dumb, a person realizes they have to actually try at something and be consistent sometimes.
Tragically, this doesn't often end up being a problem for someone as high IQ as her. Then they blame themselves for not fitting in, but not understanding why. Something is wrong, that means I'm stupid. But the incorrect self-evaluation only exacerbates the problem.
