Cooking is the easiest to simulate, they don't even need to show their hands. Just have a decent VR setup and make a few food models, then they can cook the fake food in VR while their roommate cooks the real food.

I am a drawfag and watching art streamers was boring before. After Ina it's unbearable. I know what they are doing but a lot of it is very tedious and repetitive, and they can't chat and draw at the same time. I remember thinking Ina must've been a little out of sorts working on an usual pose for her Marine sketch, went to get a snack, and came back to a full Noel rough. Anyone who tries to enter that sphere is going to be compared to her, and come out looking bad 99% of the time. I suspect this why Sana doesn't want to do much art on stream.

Mini painting is a lot like drawing. You can do time lapse and make videos people will watch. Do it real time and you better be blazingly fast and good with a great camera setup or no one will watch. Having niche Holos can work well but you are asking that particularly vtuber to sacrifice part of their audience for the niche one, since most people aren't going to be interested in minis. See Kiara and her obsession with numbers poison JRPGs. It works out okay for her, she got a niche sponsorship she really liked and has a die hard fanbase, but it might be a tough sell. I wish there was a vtuber that really utilized the whole virtual roleplaying aspect to create a full thorough mixed media ARG type experience. Like what Uchikoshi did with A-set for his AI Somnium Files marketing but going all the way to weave the narrative into streams with audience interactivity. Would require an actual great seiyuu who can keep the facade mixed with a great director and storyteller though.
