holos, I've watched some hfz and dark but not actively.
the reason for shoot fighting is I'm pretty decent at designing wrestlers in the game but doing the movesets/cpu ai logic is too autistic for me so it's simpler to just steal some famous mma movesets

if the people who put together the /hfz/ team in the vt league is any indication it's that it should be possible for a few people to have the save file set up for hfz matches since technically theres already a coordinated group of people for it

I'm not sure if there's any disadvantage to having multiple people with many working savefiles as rankings and stat bonuses seem to do fuck all, but OP should just embrace being the vince/jim and start calling the shots i.e booking matches, making arcs, making gimmicks behind the scenes and just have the technical team do the streams themselves

that is if he even plans on continuing holofightz because I understand that having a day job is a big priority but when you start a project that pulls close to 1000 viewers consistently you need to start having some responsibility and backup plans when real life shit starts to become a hindrance

We had a good run, we had good laughs, we had a lot of fun. At least we had some good memories of almost 50+ hours of jank wrassling with our oshis. We should stop raging at the abyss where there is no OP that's going to respond or come back, we should just enjoy what we had.

Only issue I can see is the activity of the thread vs the board. Given that the bigger parts of HFZ’s push came from external elements to the threads themselves (global, true outsider viewership), it’s difficult to figure what comes next aside from DARK-tier /comfy/ in terms of thread engagement. I prefer smaller shows to larger ones, personally. Perhaps a series of anons doing /vt/-related work could regenerate some lost thread stability.

Yeah, I can tell just by the types of questions being brought up. What was formerly taboo due to OP’s engagement has begun to seem more plausible as the fire wanes a bit.

on break currently but previously DARK streamed at 12:30 PM CST on Thursdays and 10 AM CST on Saturdays. these days are likely to remain the same although i may stream earlier in the morning on both days, something like 7 AM.
BONUS originated from a half episode where i covered a stream when OP had to push one of his forward a few days, and then to continue to cover a stream while OP is on hiatus. BONUS is canon to DARK, but usually deals with sillier plot lines and fan requested matches. (like time travel, and STACK/jp/ invading). bonis bonis is typically non-canon, matches that ignore the current storyline and canon, and are to fill time due to running short or issues with crashes. there is a golden rule to bonis bonis, however. "if it's kino, it's canon"
ELFS works on META periodically. he's currently working on the fourth (i think?) installment.
Additionally, TWBro/SuRai, with OPs blessing, periodically uploads matches to his channel titled "HolofightZ Off-Season". They tend to deal with v-tubers outside of hololive, and the literal holomoms (as seen in fanart/heard on streams, not the mamas/papas that created their avatars.)

Looking at the archives an average HFZ match lasts anywhere between 7-15 minutes unless there's some 2k fuckery that causes a long match. I'd say the MMA thing is probably alright to end faster. If you're concerned about groundpound, are there different "styles" of groundpound in this game?
