It's the part she plays up the most though and it doesn't seem very like her to pander to things she has no interest in.
Personally I think she came up with the basic idea and imagined the "warrior" part of her character as more of a classic anime and or WoW fantasy kind of thing that went along well with being a majestic phoenix. This was passed over to huke who added his male brained kamen rider autism to it.
In a perfect world he'd have stuck the landing and made the warrior/seal part of her character concept closer to a mahou shoujo or sword world character.

A guy randomly edited her outfit once where she actually looked like a KFP manager. It's difficult because toku is mostly composed of long seasons. There's a couple movies you can watch, but none of them will give you the real sense of watching a series. If we're going out from that point, I'd say the most welcoming shows would be Megaranger and Shinkenger for Sentai, and Kuuga and W for Rider. For Kiara specifically, I think Kyoryuger and Kamen Rider Fourze would probably appeal to her energy; but I'd personally have her watch Jetman, just to listen to her sing its ED and because it's one of the most dated Japanese-y things you can watch.

I'd also love to see Mori watch Kamen Rider Gaim or Kamen Rider Amazons.

I don't think Kiara's design needs as drastic of changes as I put here but I figured I might as well do my take on it.

Here is a list of things I disliked about it and changed
>Warrior stuff
>the sporty collar zip up thing and how it covered up her sexy shoulders
>Sneakers
>Her weird tiny side burns
>uneven bangs
>Two hats
>The fact her eyes are so big yet don't have a substantial smiling eye keyform, so they always seem big and crazed
>Her lack of nose definition making her nose look a bit off (added a little blush)
>Changed her mouth shape for preference
>Not as cutesy as it could be to match her character
>Not enough phoenix shit

I think her character is a lot more pretty girl, idol type, with the bossiness of a manager. Her whole warrior thing can go because she hardly ever uses it and it just clutters her design. I decided to keep the lined white design element because I'm pretty sure it's supposed to resemble those things you put on the end of turkey legs.

I figured I wanted to play up the pheonix more so I gave her a feather train and head wings, which would flap with her bounciness. I thought she should be more girly so I added earrings (Since those feathers actually seem to sprout out of her hair) and gave her painted nails. I also made her legs shorter since I found her to look pretty elongated, but I'm conflicted on whether it's better or not.

In the end I think I made her look more like a flight attendant than anything.

Dulling the colors wouldn't be an improvement at all, a phoenix should be colorful.
I didn't like her design at first either, but it's grown on me. The only thing I change are the excessive accessories, other than that I think it's fine.

Her hair and eyes are fine, those are actually her best features. The outfit is the problem. It's WAY too saturated, even worse than Nene's was before her redesign. And honestly, the miniskirt doesn't work. Nothing against lewd design, it just looks extremely bad.

Honestly, if she gets a new skin she should just switch to that forever. Her current one is just obnoxious to look at.
