In the latest of minor drama for this drama board, perhaps one of the most laughable ones so far, Idolmaster Ensemble Stars Otaku are upset that Suisei's new song feels too much like Ensemble Stars, claiming she's "appropriating" Ensemble stars for herself.
Despite Suisei being an Ensemble stars fan herself, that doesn't stop fans from being retarded and attacking their own. They claim it's against the fanworks guidelines and illegal because "you could mistake it as official" despite all Suisei doing was hiring a musician who made songs for Ensemble Stars in the past, and the artist somebody who made fanart of the game. The jackets and lyrics are apparently "too similar" and therefore copyright infringement.
There are demands in this minor drama by extremely irrelevant Otakus on twitter for Suisei to never talk about Ensemble Stars again due to her massive disrespect.

Enstars is so anal about derivative works that you're banned from uploading gifs/videos from concerts, and banned from posting translations of the game (people do all this anyway, but JP autism) there's also the drama surrounding making anything spin-off like. Since Japan's copyright rules are fucked, artists live in a state of limbo where it could all come crashing down at any moment if a company decides they've had enough. I understand the fans getting upset in a worried sense. I can also see Tokomachifags who are aware of Happy Element's faggotry being worried. However they did have the artist do art for them so there is no way in hell HE is unaware this exists.
And it's not like the tweets do anything, people get upset at everything.
