Complete horseshit. I sat in on a dozen different committees and councils, drank with professors, got my name credited on a major publication, shook hands with members of the city and finished with an honor's and a half dozen rewards. All of them got me jack diddly squat. Profs are flakes, a good number of them have brain problems and they're pretty much all poor. The school doesn't help you land internships or put you 'in touch with the right people' and in the end all I got out of it was a piece of paper that told my eventual employer that I was slightly above their average applicant--and that was all I actually needed to get a job. As stupid as it sounds, it was four years wasted to get a certification confirming that I was, indeed employable, and then I promptly found a job where I used exactly none of the skills or knowledge involved in my degree, learned everything I needed on-sight and never had use for any of it again.

That's not even all that much.
My tuition was ~16k a year after government subsidies and grants and that was one of the less expensive options. A single year of student loan would've dropped that to 4k out of pocket and left me with 12k of debt. Only having 10k in the whole after finishing your degree is a dream; you can have that paid off in a few years rather than spending most of your adult life a prisoner to debt payments that are 90% interest.

The movie was, unsurprisingly, really really good. Her commentary was very slim compared to other holo's watchalongs but better than nothing. The good part started when the movie ended.
