Th problem is not archiving. The problem is uploading. I don't think I'm able to upload almost 1TB of data if her channel gets nuked for some reason.
So im basically just doing this for myself. If you want to be safe you should archive her streams yourself.

Go to her channel; uploads;play all (this will create a playlist with all her videos)
Save this playlist to your channel, then get Jdownloader or a dedicated youtube downloader and let it run in the background for a day or two.
Just get/buy a dedicated Kiara HDD for this purpose. It's really cheap these days.

Kiara has said multiple times that it's not Nene's fault. Chat suggested that it was Nene's fault during one of the shadowbanned streams and Kiara immediately shut down that theory. Even today, Kiara said that no one is to blame except Youtube.

Already posted this before, but in all likelihood, it was the O'riends concert that triggered the shadowban because Kiara logged into Youtube from Nene's PC for that collab. That's probably what she was alluding to in today's stream.

Hardware Unboxed, a popular tech channel, was shadowbanned and had two months of videos removed after one of the channel owners logged into their account from a "new" location while on vacation. That's pretty much exactly what happened to Kiara.

If you want to hear HUB's story: https://youtu.be/Nh_260Z1jzw

Nenechi's elite hacker skills probably had no effect on the shadowban, and again, Kiara herself has said that Nene did nothing wrong. O'riends together strong!

I mean, if you're gonna suggest that Kiara explicitly saying "it's no one's fault except Youtube's" still leaves room for doubt, then anything she says probably wouldn't be good enough for someone out there. Again, she's specifically said she doesn't think Nene is at fault at all and ultimately it does come down to Youtube.

It's nice to take account security seriously, but to jump to an automatic shadowban simply because someone logs into their account from a new location is a pretty drastic step. Especially when it takes over a week to get the shadowban removed.

I feel the same way. You see her getting lots of chats and memberships sure but then you figure cover and youtube take big chunks, and she'll find out real soon Europe has a high tax rate if she hasn't already.
If she started investing today in 10 years even with Bobo the bear beating people up right now long term she'd be in good shape.
Here stateside we have states that don't even tax capital gains. I mean theoretically I or someone like me could sponsor her to come stateside but you usually don't do that unless you're auditioning for a green card and while I'm a fan I don't know her. Plus i work a lot so she'd be spending a lot of time alone with her cats. She wouldn't have to pay rent and could build a nest egg sure but the only thing we have around Atlanta that i think she'd like is Dragon con once a year. So keeping her entertained would be hard.

I'm still convinced that it was Hackerman Nenechii's fault. Kiara is a fucking retard so don't ever assume she actually knows more than you. She probably just doesn't want to involve Nene in this so she leaps to other conclusions.

The last time I heard her mention about how it's not Nene's fault, it sounded like she thought it happened after she arrived in Europe and THEREFORE it couldn't have been Nene, which is just flat-out false but it makes sense that she didn't notice the shadowban while traveling.

Fact is, the shadowban happened before she left Japan and the only place with a different IP she went through and logged in on was Nene's house.

Maybe there was just a sort of delay for the shadowban.
We don't know the exact time when Kiara got the "suspicious activity" message.

It could be that the first time she logged in at Nene's house, it simply put her on some sort of watchlist and then Nene logging in is what finally triggered the shadowban. But it's all just meaningless speculation.
We don't know what caused it and it ultimately doesn't matter, but it very likely was a different IP login because I don't know anything else that causes these "suspicious activity" alerts. And we also know it happened before she left Japan.

Assuming it was Nene's fault, there's a big red button Kiara could have clicked to log out, so it is also partially Kiara's fault. If it's because she streamed on her cell phone's Internet instead of a normal IP, it's YouTube's fault for being annoying. Nene didn't do anyrhing wrong, I just wish Kiara didn't let the rrat live with her address of it in the stream.

The problem with doing that is it assumes she did something wrong. YouTube is so fucking scummy, they don't even acknowledge shadowbans. You can get strikes for no reason and it's a big deal if you use gmail or something. YouTube deciding to have a sudden "policy change" to their "algorithm" can have real consequences for people, most noticeably to us Kiara.
If I ever get into making videos I'm hosting my own server and vids. I can't imagine having an albatross like alphabet constantly breathing down your neck as a creator.

No you're a little stupid is what you are. Not only is Nene not at "fault", ultimately what she did is of no particularly great consequence. Because if we assume that this streaming from a different IP is what caused it then what the fuck do you think was gonna happen when Kiara streamed from home just a few days later? The shadowban may have then started a few days later but ultimately the same sequence of triggers would have occurred. The only people still trying to pin this on Nene are schizos and concernfags like you who worry about the schizos. So let's assume we're talking Gen 2 at the youngest, given how she said she wants to focus on earlier gens first.
>Highest Chance
Matsuri, Choco, Aki, Sora. All people Kiara has collabed with of the "earlier gen" Holos. Kiara is reluctant about returning to Holotalk because of the anxiety of new internet so I bet she will stick to her comfort zone by hosting someone she already has a relationship with, therefore I consider these four the most likely.
>Decent Chance
Haachama, who has collabed with Kiara before but seems to already have a strong connection to English speaking audiences anyways, so probably has less incentive for an appearance. Still she's bound to be on Holotalk at some point, so it might as well be for a big "return" stream. Mel, given she's been doing a tour of duty collabing with ENs, and AZKi since she is trying to establish more of a presence in general with her new model and membership opening recently.
>Possible But Weak Chance
All the ones I didn't mention from gens 0-2: Aqua, Roboco, Ayame, and Suisei. If they do have a current or prior relationship with Kiara then I'm not aware of it. All except Roboco have yet to show interest in foreign diplomacy, as far as I know. Bonk me if I'm misremembering. I'll go ahead and include Hololive Gamers in this category since I doubt Kiara wants to go that "young" just yet, and as far as I know has no prior relationship with them, though Korone has collabed with EN before.

>> No.1277151

It's reasonable if you think about it. We learn our mother tongue from our parents and not with the what and why clearly laid out for us. Funny story back in High School I nearly failed English but when I started writing I had to basically relearn a lot of what I thought I already knew.
Now I'm curious though. Why aren't they separate letters?

ä, ö, ü are a result of semi-predictable vowel mutations in German. They're just a, o, u but affected by a front vowel (i, e) attached to the root at the end. It's the same type of mutation that gave English foot-feet and mouse-mice. So historically it's natural that German doesn't treat them as different letters, because they're a different "quality" of vowel rather than a full thing, like á in Spanish, â in French, à in Italian or ā in Latin; ironically when languages that had similar vowels and were influenced by German, like the Scandinavian languages, adopted them, the processes were completely foreign to them, so they became separate letters in collation. Eventually the letters became more-or-less standard when translating the same sounds in languages outside Europe, because the Latin alphabet didn't have any way to represent them originally, and it's much more elegant than filling your language with digraphs *cough*Korean*bloodcough*.

The sharp S has a history that's just as specific for German, and it was born from a special variant of S that was common around a couple centuries back but became defunct due to typewriting differences. It only indicates that the S is silent, but that it also doesn't make the bowel before it short (unlike ss would), so it didn't have an accepted capital variant until recently. Since all initial Ss in German are voiced, the only time you'll ever see it is in dialect transcription of those dialect that do have voiceless S word-initially.

>> No.1297435

It's... passable. Out of the three movies, the first one is the most decent one. The movie series went through terrible development. Originally Guillermo del Toro was going to be directing it, and it was going to be just two films, since the Hobbit book is smaller than any of the separate LotR books. Del Toro had to quit halfway through the project, and Jackson had to take the helm again, and eventually things got so bad that the decision to film the third film was mane during the filming of the second one.

It was sort of a doomed project from the start. They had to follow up on the hype of the LotR films with something that started as a bedtime story for Tolkien's kids. It never had any of the scope of his later works nor even had the ambition for something of the like, so the films are just bloated in comparison to the book.
