She is just as sheltered as most vtube fans, and shares a key interest (anime). This allows her to do 'unintentional' GFE, which is amazing because it feels so much more natural.

Aside from that, she has a relatively positive and unspammy chat, which lets her control chat well without requiring gura level chat interaction skills. Also, her streaming ability started average, but is growing fast. Most importantly, she seems to really enjoy vtubing, which makes her streams that much more enjoyable.

Her model is a debuff for sure, but it may have been for the best. The debuff means a curated audience, which allows her to grow at her own pace.

When she is ready, and they give her a non-debuff model, I see her as the next EN giant. It has to be well timed, though. Otherwise, the additional popularity will stifle her.

I don't think this is true. HoloEN's success was hardly guaranteed and nobody thought it would blow up the way it did, not even Gura herself. Remember how she wanted to have shark plushies made for every sub milestone she hit? Yeah, she had no idea she was going to get to 1 million subs within a week or two, lol.

In a lot of ways she took a huge risk because she wanted to get out of her past persona and wanted to be in a more structured environment. If it was Niji launching an EN branch instead of Holo she would have probably applied for that too.

On paper her design looked really good but they should have made adjustments after the L2D was done. Maybe made her a little less complicated to rig or make her face a little thinner. Kson got the right idea of having her designer and rigger be on the same call to make communications smoother. Her details are great in HD and up close but it becomes a little blotchy when afar. That should have been addressed as well. She looks fine in her Karaokes. She looked okay in Mumei's watchalong. I love her design. Just the implementation didn't cut it.
