>rigs event to be an "EVERYBODY IS A WINNER!" ending

>> No.12609105

>>12608913
Agreed
Red wins if we take out all pity points (of which White got earlier) therefore red wins

>> No.12609204

>>12609105
White won because Red were dirty cheaters breaking the hopper with their idol meat.

>> No.12611822

>>12609105
Red literally had a bugged hopper for both the A and B matches

Finaly result would've been like 320-260 without that with White still winning, just even harder.

>> No.12611895

might as well say you were the last winner to the one who comes last

Haachama didn't got pity points.
3 points were for anyone that finish the Red Green

My oshi was on White and I wouldn't have a problem if this was the ending. Better to get owned through fair play than to be handed a draw for free.

>final match rolls around
>other team can't win or even tie if they win the match
>use 50 IQ points that OP doesn't have
>make the last match actually matter
I'm mad at myself that I feel compelled to explain it to you. It's like trying to teach a dog physics.

Probably. Kinda wanna see the 2/5chan reactions to the event.

>> No.12612705

>>12612165
The other team would be able to win or tie if they had performed better in the preceding events. It's simply unfair to, without consulting the teams involved, change the rules midway through an event for the explicit purpose of arriving at a predetermined desirable result.

Except the last match still doesn't matter because the entire festival was rigged from the start to end in a tie, thus only one team could win the final match. Haha, checkmate, nerd.

anon you're really replying to bait posts, that's like looking at a crippled guy on a wheelchair and asking him if he's crippled, if you see a post that's obvious, don't even bother, because that post is that crippled guy sitting on that wheelchair

>> No.12615506

>>12614025
yes that is how it goes in highschoool evenest,, did you never participate in any? the early games basically don't matter and classes who want to win reserve their best people for the last game. or else they do separate scoring for each game and have no overall score so that each game is an event on it's own.

Sports are serious business. There was probably even money riding on this outcome. Everyone lost because nobody won. People will obviously feel cheated because they didn't get a satisfying return on their emotional or financial investment.

The sports festival was an absolute shitshow.

Anon in life. There is no such thing as a friendly competition. There are only winners and losers and if everyone wins. Then what is the point of competing? This applies to all aspects that involve competition against others.

Its human nature to want to see who is better than the other.

This, The event was advertised as a competition, something we hardly see the holos take part on, we saw most of them practice days before even the ones that normally don't touch minecraft, so the competitive spirit was there and fans wanted to see their oshi efforts pay off and this feeling was carried all through the event (especially for people who stood awake or postponed shit to watch it) just to be told that none of it matter and there was never going to be a winner.

The hopper worked, it should have been a sweep but white cheated by reseting the final match

>> No.12639974

>>12630952
The hopper was fixed yesterday (by Miko iirc) except it was on the wrong server (the renshuu "practice" server). On the day of, during the first few matches before Team C's match something being off was brought up, but Mio despite being team white didn't realize what was wrong with it & it didn't get fixed til the last match.
However that was still white's incompetence, and the final relay matches points were always going to be so that both teams could have a chance, so it doesn't matter in the end.
