>It's just a for fun block game
>Make people practice
>Make people spend 5 hours in the middle of the night, making your opponents extremely tired so they won't win and most people won't be able to watch it
>Make people play on ping over 200
>Don't even explain the rules of the game because you can't be bothered with the language barrier
>Make sure to force a tie so there isn't anyway they could consider it worth the investment
Why are Japanese like this?

Just the kind of behavior you'd expect from a used-up hag and an avowed racist. Hope Cover fires their asses for this colossal fuck-up.

>change the rules late in the game

>white team wins anyway

This is basically the equivalent of winning then being told that your opponent wasn't really giving their all and that the only reason you won is because they didn't care enough to try hard. Nothing more infuriating than spending hours getting ready for a competition only to be told that it didn't matter in the end and that it's your fault for getting worked up in the first place.

then why is it only the retards on this board complaining and not the holomembers who put hours into practicing it lmao

I'm convinced there are people here who bet 5k on a children's t-ball game and get mad at the kids when they lose.

How much y'all wanna bet there's a few members of this festival that are secretly seething about the outcome? I know a few practiced their ass off for this.

You got the wrong place. This is for mentally ill people who can't stop reading threads about anime girl streamers and gossiping about them.

You really think any of the members are actually gonna say anything about this debacle? Of course not, they're not that stupid that they'll throw a hissy fit over it in public and even if they do management is gonna be on their ass for "unsportsmanlike behavior" Aqua cried during the mario kart tournament and a fair number of them spent hours just practicing for today, and some stayed up until morning just to participate. Of course some of them are probably fine with the outcome and some of them probably felt a little "salty" at the tie but the crux of the matter is that if they made a show about sportsmanship in the beginning then they should stick to it until the very end. This is why most sports don't allow ties and instead go into overtime until a winner is determined.
Someone made a good point in that if they didn't want this to happen then they shouldn't have done points in the first place and instead did it by awarding winners at a per-game basis and I honestly believe that would be a lot more fun for the audience and the contestants.

"debacle" i don't think any of them really care except perhaps Aqua because she's autistic. The point still stands that, why are people who put 0 hours into practicing for this event, talking about how infuriating it is for hours of practice to be taken away, when the actual people who practiced don't care. It's getting offended on behalf of no-one. Literally just making yourself angry over nothing. The people these anons are angry for, would prefer if they just shut up, because literally the members were just there to have fun, not care about random anon upset about how unfair the games were.

Fair point, honestly this is just the internet equivalent of a riot happening after a big game. Your team won? Riot in the streets. Your team lost? Riot in the streets. Tie? Riot in the streets. What I'm basically saying is that I sort of miss the riots that happens after every big season, life just isn't the same until you open up the news and see a burning upturned cop car with a dude in a hockey mask yelling at the sky in front of it. God I miss Montreal.

The unity win was dedicated to Sana's dog dying. You can't make Sana Bryant lose after Air Bud died on her and she needed to recoup for over a month.

If this is the Montreal Screwjob then I'm just waiting for the equivalent of CM Punk pipebomb, now THAT would be the final yab.
Would the curtain call equivalent be if they revealed that none of them were actually lesbians?

>>12614367
Yeah, white B were probably the ones who practiced the most and are probably a little miffed about this especially with the reveal of the hopper problem. Probably not enough to cause a scene but enough to feel down for a little while. (Suisei and Aqua specifically since they're known to be quite competitive)

My brochacho gets it. This could've been fantastic. But that'd require professional level organization, structure and communication. As we all know hololive is lacking in the corporate infrastructure and logistical planning department, there was no reason to believe this wouldn't devolve to controversy.

Better to have skipped it and shitposter about the yab later than wasted your time sitting through it.
