Honestly, I just watched TV and would listen, rewind, read their lines at the same time, listen, rewind, read their lines, etc. And I did this multiple times a day for about a summer... When I was able to go out, I would "people watch" ie. sit in a corner of a coffee shop and write down what people said, then I would repeat it to myself and see if I could get it to match up. Then I just keep my speech practice in mind and try to change my inflection as I speak. It does not always work well, but you just have to sound normal enough that you do not make people around you uncomfortable.

Mhmm, they do. The issue with that is that I was coming off as unnatural talking to normal people, like classmates and teachers. So I had to start watching normal TV to try and balance it. I still over-inflect and it can come off as overexcited or my emotions towards things can feel overblown.

It's true, and I kinda get it, because dominating a conversation with something niche turns the conversation to something that most people won't be able to contribute meaningfully to, so it becomes one or two people talking and everyone else listening, which isn't too fun when you're trying to banter/socialize with friends. Talking about normal things lets everyone contribute, even if what's being said isn't super meaningful, what's being said isn't what matters, because group conversation like that is more suited to learning the personalities and traits of people rather than the individual interests.
Once you get to know someone on a superficial level, you can get them to open up on a more personal level, and it's rare that someone doesn't have *some* weird interest or trait that they can go on and on about as long as someone is willing to listen. I always try to draw out people's interests once I'm getting to know them and it's introduced me to some cool stuff. I've likely bored them to tears talking about stuff I'm really in to, but it's a good time, and I've met most of my best friends this way.

I've got a whole makerspace in my garage with 3D printers, a laser cutter, vector plotter, CNC mill, all also built by me. I like making little custom gifts for my friends. I make my own clothes. I've actually wanted to do that! I've used Blender for nearly a decade now but I mostly use it for prototype parts, so I've been doing my reps for human/character modeling cause that's a whole different beast. The hair always trips me up, because it really requires good sculpting, which I'm not as used to. I've had to deal with my car being out in the northeast winter because of this, the price I pay...
Normally when there's something I'm wanting to build I try to find the respective hobby community obsessed with it and study there before going in on a purchase/build.

The 3D printer was pretty easy, there's a lot of designs people have made but I based mine on the popular Prusa i3 build. I made this one in college, spent about ~$250 in parts. Now you can buy one off the shelf that cheap, so it probably isn't worth it to build your own.
The laser cutter is a rebuild of a popular cheap cutter called the "K40" that you can find on ebay for ~$350. I swapped the gantry, control board, and added an air assist to the base model + built a custom control panel to replace the stock one, which gives better controls for getting the calibration right. This thing made it's money back because my ghetto uni didn't have one and I charged engineering students to use it.
The CNC was the most expensive by far... I built it this spring for about ~$2k, based on the OpenBuilds 1010 iirc, though I made some minor changes to the base design.
My next addition will likely be a manual injection molder, it looks especially appealing now that I can make the molds with the CNC.

...I'll stop sperging out about my hobbies in this thread now, I swear.

If you can't or don't want to stream anymore there's no reason you can't just go on an indefinite hiatus and leave a backdoor so you can come back whenever you feel like it in the future. your model isn't owned by some corporation that's in danger of hurting their brand by letting it fade from consciousness, and you don't need to meet a quota for how many streamlabs donations or hours playing minecraft you need to do every week.
