Can easily scroll through the video while the stream is live, video quality options aren't gated behind arbitrary requirements, no need to do additional work to save the vods, easier to leave feedback, since I can leave comments on the video. Also, if she want to do pre-recorded videos, that only really works on YouTube, I like having everything in a single place. I also enjoy seeing the schedule streams waiting rooms, it's good to o keep track and not miss any stream.
YouTube chat is also comfier, I really dislike emotes that are unrelated to the streamer. On top of all that, YouTube membership would be cheaper for everyone.

That is very much a subjective opinion, I can just as easily say I find twitch chat comfier, and that I like seeing the emotes from other streamers. Nade herself said she liked seeing the emotes.

Twitch has way lower latency than youtube so the conversation between the streamer and the chat happens in a few seconds rather than 5-10 seconds. Features like gift subs and channel points are helpful in fostering the community feel. Of course youtube says they are implementing gifting in the future, but it's still unknown how they will be implemented. Channel points are something that I think are often overlooked. In it's basic form it's a loyalty currency that you earn from watching the stream, but it can be used to do so many more things. They can be used to temporarily unlock emotes, they can be used in predictions (read betting), they can be used to start chants, and so many more depending on how the streamer implements them. Twitch also has follower emotes in beta right now (need 60 days of good standing as a partner/affiliate), butt hopefully expanding soon. I really don't see why theres so much fighting about this. I used to not have any interest in Twitch, but after trying it I just see it on the same level as Youtube. Sure, emote spam can be annoying but it's just common sense not to do that and be cringe. And I know this is personal experience, but I found a lot of vtubers I watch through raiding, and it's nice to see Nade take the initiative when reaching out to other tubers.
That said, I like YouTube streams just fine and I wouldn't mind if she streamed there, too. I think some people may just be stubborn and not want to switch platforms.

I was surprised she chose this game since I remember some of the puzzles being frustrating but she knocked those out of the park. I still would like to see her play more action based games and challenging games (not necessarily ones designed to frustrate like Getting Over It or Jump King). It's all about that attitude of learning from the last run and the thrill of risking everything on your own skill.

As for Twitch I found it funny that the thing she noticed was the lower latency. I remember she tried the same setting on YouTube and it caused buffering for a lot of viewers. Hopefully we can try more chatting streams on YouTube's ultra-low latency as well as Twitch to compare. Also the thing about thumbnails. That should get easier once the fanart train gets rolling. (Nade, your legs, please.) Also, a big thank you to our resident fanartists and clippers.
As for the rest of the features, raids are fun and help the streamer reach out to the community at large, sub emotes are cute and universally better than the default Twitch ones, and the YouTube player is better for a few reasons but transcoding to lower resolutions is the biggest issue as the lack of it can make the stream unwatchable for some people. It only gets a little better after you gain affiliate as Twitch only has so much computing power for transcoding, apparently, so affiliates can still be stuck at their native broadcast resolution.

You know, I wonder if the whole fanart thing is because people were apprehensive about drawing someone who they thought could have been underage. Hell that rrat still persists at times. I can imagine Nade being too busy or tired to do things like post a full model or sketch a possible rearview for her outfits, but at times I can't help but feel it's laziness, which I know for certain isn't true concerning all the other shit she does. In fact it's likely all that other shit she's doing that's splitting her time so much. Being a vtuber is still a hobby after all, but if you take too much of a workload for other things don't be surprised if effort in some things starts to suffer. But the only links to *old* videos that get shared and reposted are the short ones - Youkai's Wish, Story of the Badgers, Becoming Lamy, etc. No one's going to say "Oh, you want a quick introduction? Watch an entire movie". That doesn't work for the curious, only for people who were interested in you already.

Maybe you're thinking "Hololive don't do that", but Hololive have legions of clipper channels generating this style of content for them. The vast majority of the VTuber audience do not get into a Tuber through streams directly - they need clips or collabs to catch their interest first ("being a member of the same agency" counts as a low-level collab).
This is also the reason why some people call the VTwitcher community incestuous - the format of Twitch makes it less likely that people will chance upon a clip or short video, so collabs become way more important.

I had good in-twitch clip recommendations personally, however its not a well intergrated feature because its not a vod platform, so you'd have to hop onto clip page to start going through them.

That said the short video removal is a travesty for sharing stuff about her cuteness. I think she should make another short video for the Intro, as some of us suggested few streams ago. Why is she splitting her viewer base between platforms? That's a bad move, most people won't bother moving to another platform to view more of your content. A good example of this would be Senzawa, having viral meme videos on youtube with a million subs, while being a 2view on twitch.

I'm gonna critiquefag for a minute sorry in advance this will be my only post about it.
-Nade get some stream overlays, your strongest skill is zatsu and it's makes the stream look very amateurish that the viewers only have you and a png background to look at. I think this is actually a step backwards compared to the png days.
-On screen chat. It would increase the experience for vod watchers by a LOT especially if they are on phone.
-Mic. This is already in the works.
-I like your model, it's unique but still kinda rough around the edges. The rigging needs some finetuning, I don't know what happened since it worked much better during the debut. Same with the model itself, here I mostly think of the shading at certain parts and the model feels "low res" (I don't know how to explain that part properly)
-You could try out some more simplistic games while you are still getting used to pc gaming in general. While >we like seeing you trying your best with games you are new at it can turn off outside viewers. Maybe you could look at what's popular with bigger vtubers and try some of those if you like them.

Heres the thing, i may be retarded and im not living inside Nades head: She wanted a Redo which she got but i asume she doesnt want to role-play a corpo with all the bells and whistles. Otherwise why'd she neglect all the bling blings and trends since her debut, including a very simple second outfit reveal instead of building it up, or milking fanarts for contents. It would be easy to call her "lazy", but perhaps she just isn't interested in roleplaying the trends that are going on. If i was her manager i'd focus on making everything look like its a well oiled planned machine to trick new-users into signing up for a promise of greater future.

I think the rigging is fine, difference from debut is that she's not concentrating on being as expressive as she can, it takes practice to act natural while exaggerating your facial expressions.
Overlays, yeah, it would be good, the city night background doesn't really has anything to do with Nade.
Nade said she was looking into commissioning some streaming assets, most likely the starting, brb and ending screens. Who knows, maybe she's planning on getting some overlays too while she's at it.
I'm sure badgers could help her providing some assets if she wants. The only reason why I don't try to do more stuff like that for her is because I don't want to overstep my boundaries.

While i was baiting, i put some of my thought into it. I have had some disappointments with nade, and twitch streams is one of them. I already had a transformation from a fan to a threadreader shitposter in /yah/.
Why i dislike twitch and won't move to it? I dislike it's culture: raids, emotes. I don't like it's player, and the connection is shit sometimes for my third world country. Also it won't notify me of upcoming streams while i just browse youtube for other content. Literally no one i watch streams there, so i won't make the move just for nade, it's easier to just switch chuubas. There are no shortages of them.
Audience split.
Casual viewers, coming from one platform are unlikely to move onto another, as per my senzawa example. I think it's the worst to do like she did, doing different content on different platforms decreases the likelihood
of people coming to check you out on another platform, as it is not what they came for. If it was on one platform people are more likely to check your other content since there are way less friction. They are already subscribed and the algorithm will recommend you the content on it's own.

It is ultimately the fault of thread residents. When any criticism gets called bait, it means that the general have gone into hugbox mode, and it's meaningless to spend the effort to try and have a meaningful discussion about it. Many such cases.

I know doomer anons, i just disreguarded what you post because i dont have most of those issues, so your complaint to me seems very petty. Now dont take it personally, everybody has their own habits they got used to or are constrained against their will to ( like the resolution on the first stream), but its very difficult to take it seriously when the gap is so large between us on "just enjoying the Nade in any form we get". If i have been enjoying Nade so far against all the issues encountered, then how can others invent issues to tranform a Nade stream into a not enjoyable experience? Thats how my brain goes. However, i had to deal with the loss of spaces, so i guess i can feel some emotional connection in frustration with you, although i managed to overcome the spaces mentally too, without resorting to making upset posts for the format not being perfect for me and making it seem like a "this will make people leave!" disaster. Outside of Fubuki and Pippa (just realized Nade doesn't follow Pomu), all the other chuubas she follows are twitch only or twitch focused with their youtube channels for vods or short videos. I didn't get to catch the last stream and I cant watch the VOD yet because it's still processing, but most of the time it's the chat baiting Nade into talking about yab topics. It won't ever change if Nade keeps deciding to be passive towards her chat. If she was really interested in having a family friendly stream she'd make a set of rules for the chat and enforce it with timeouts and bans. I thin Nade is really overlooking how the chat affects how people view a streamer; the chat is like your garden in a sense.
