Do people here even watch streams? I've lost count of how many times I've posted a minor criticism of someone, something that nobody has mentioned before, and a few posts later I see someone repeating the exact criticism, the same way, really playing it up but without any further details. It feels like they don't watch the streams at all and they're just waiting for posts like mine so they can turn it into "ammo" against the streamer they don't even watch. I have to be a lot more careful because they have no shame with things like that.

no

>> No.12933350

Of course not, you think someone who hates a certain VTuber is going to watch hours of their full streams when they can just parrot others and clipfag?
Doesn't concern me since I only watch 2view indies, but whatever.

this legitimately sounds like a schizophrenic delusion, OP. Maybe check your carbon monoxide monitor

shitting on /vt/ is a stealth meta. usually occurs when nothing fascinating is happening on OP's homosexual love life. the second or third replies are always in agreement of this with the >of course >what do you expect template

I don't. Who the fuck truly has time to watch full streams?

Not even /jp/ watches streams. You're on the secondary website. Go to Discord or Reddit if you want people that actually do. I'm not even kidding.

I do watch streams, but not a lot. Because there's only so many hours in a day.
I'm here because there is simply too much content to keep up with, reddit is too sanitized and simply a circle jerk to have an unfiltered discussion (I don't mean participating rrats), and clips might help keep up with content but not discussion.
Yeah, it's unhealthy to be here. I've even noticed it changing my writing patterns.
I need a fucking job so I can give up this place and get back to being a normie.

Sorry to tell you but if you're looking for "discussion" of VTubers you're in the wrong hobby. The worthwhile VTubers never get discussed, even here. All anyone wants to talk about is Hololive shit.

I watch streams that are only interesting. If it's not then, I won't watch it. Then again, I only watch my oshi's stream and not anyone else. Most of the time, I just watch clips, since she doesn't stream that much.

>> No.12938493

I'm subbed to everyone at Holo except for Calli and Ollie. I probably watch streams for about 4-5 hours a day though usually as background noise / listening like a radio show unless it's something I really want to pay attention to.

There are a lot of people who only watch clips though, and while you do get the most memorable moments from those they also lack context and a lot of the YT translators aren't good.

People here do watch streams, but people here are willing to argue about everything. There's some but far from complete overlap and posting negative things will make the latter ones come out of the woodwork, and a sizable amount of the former will be there to tell you to "just enjoy".
As I will do promptly: You're shouting criticism into the void. Write a letter to your oshi if you want her (or him) to change. Other than that, just enjoy, nothing negative you say will ever benefit you.

>> No.12942619

Back when people would make 3 threads a day about how shit Petra was, I'd live post her streams in NijiEN general because I was 1 of 3 anons who'd actively watch her. I then witnessed my posts be turned into a shitpost OP, gathered and paraphrased in a way to make her look like she hated English when all I said is she's freely responding to both JP and EN chatters and talked about the difference between the two.
I've also had anons ask a question about Aruran's stream then it got used as numberfag bait in /hlgg/. It's annoying.

Watching live is for people who have free time in continuous hour-plus chunks. I catch VODs when I have the time. I don't chat/SC anyway, so it's exactly the same experience.

It's not even about watching live, it's about people who don't watch anything of the stream, not even clips, and their opinions come solely from what they read on the board. Legit sociopathic practice.

Coincidentally, she wrote it in response to a /r/hololive comment criticizing her reddit reviews for being boring. It carries the same meaning (because it's the same two words, duh) but that wasn't a purposeful reference. Besides, It's really just the Mystery Science Theater mantra
