Confession time. I love that Gura is succeeding and want her to do even better, but it also makes me seethe with jealousy that she’s doing so much better than me and is now so far out of my league when in 2019 I could have easily snatched HER up as a girlfriend. But, this realization of my inferiority to her is also stoking dissatisfaction with my crappy life and I recently pushed for and got a huge promotion and raise at work because of it. I’m also going to work extremely hard for more promotions, go back to school, study investing and invest more, and work on improving my abilities in my hobbies so that I can become successful, educated, and wealthy and regain some level of parity between us.
