Indietubers and Hololive/Niji/Vshoujo/VOMS are fundamentally doing the same things, chilling behind a virtual avatar while playing games or talking with/at their chatboxes. There's not alot of innovation within and there aren't many ways to be creative with the medium (chammers made some efforts but nothing that fundamentally altered anything). One of the main reasons I particularly prefer Hololive's cast is because they have a large fanbase that can be interacted with and general get more lewds made of them.
Also, I watch vTubers to be entertained, not to experience art. If I want art, I'll go watch some arthouse films or check out a museum.
