What is with HoloX? Even the least popular one has just done three streams in one day. How are they all so motivated?

No nepotism hires, no sense of security on your buddy who got you the job

Serious answer, the first month for any vtuber is critical to their success down the line, so you want to pump out as much content as you can so the public knows what to expect from you. And as long as the debut buff stays up, you will also get more clips, which also helps to become more popular.

Combine this with having actual experience and the hololive buff and even if you don't want to, you will need to stream everything.

Love me Sana but she is a good example of what happens when you are unable to do this.

Even without nepotism you'd have to do something really stupid in order to be fired from Hololive after they've already decided to hire you. I doubt Cover would be that bothered if they streamed less.

They're all Mel or Choco's friends.

Sana was struggling to get subs even before her one month break, meanwhile Mumei did a very low number of streams early on but managed to maintain her spot as the second most popular Council member. So I'm not sure this is actually what's going on here.

What is up with Mel and Choco? They seem to show up everywhere. I was watching some random indie the other day and they were there.

As a more serious answer, these two are the type of people who cultivate connections rather diligently, as all people in entertainment ought to do. You know the saying 'In order to succeed, you either have to have a good load of money, or knows someone who knows someone'? For Hololive, that applies to these two, along with Fubuki and Sora.

They were all saved by hololive so they feel like they need to give it their all, that's why yagoo specifically goes for the most broken girls

>> No.14741381

Also worth mentioning that a lot of their streams and uploads are fairly short, so it's easier to create for the chuuba and easier to digest for the audience

The power of memes, unironically. Sana due her break had to stop streaming right after Youtube stopped fucking them over with the deleting subs thing. We didn't have material to kept her relevant besides dark jokes like "let's go". Of course there are other reasons but, I dislike these, they creep close to the schizo line.

Mumei in the other hand keep going and managed to secure a nice mount of memes, both only hers and shared with the rest of council, and that helped her kept relevant even when she couldn't stream, enough that nowadays she can pull the guerilla card and will get nice numbers, like Gura.

That's why the first month is always super important. We joke every time the talents say things like "Don't forget me" when they go on a break, but it actually happens.

Lui, Koyori and Chloe are stream monsters, short my ass, and Laplus streams enough to surpass half the holos on hours if you count her tweetcasts

>More stream.
>Still less hours put in than even Kronii.
I honestly surprised people are fooled by such a tactic to get views to fluff the numbers. Almost as bad as Risu and Marine with her shorts. Also, even though it's still high for some of them, HoloX has dropped in live viewers considering their sky high debut. It hasn't even been a month and they're already this low. Other than the 2 popular ones, they'll never reach that height again unless they play a popular meme game.

>pushing channel in to retarded YT algorithma

>showing proper work ethics to EN that stream like its some hobby not paid contracted job

>they or their managers realized that initial subs/view boost was from shift from existing channels so now they need to beat the ground with content to keep as much viewers as possible before they end as dead subs

>holos need to stream specific amount before they can colab outside their gen and +have more freedom in choosing games and content
