I thought the entire point of the hololive project was to push the technology cover had to offer. Even by uninformed viewer standards, it's apparent that Cover is lagging behind their counterparts. They pretend they're the vanguard, then get blown out the ass by indies or americans. They're forcing their top tier talents to sit on their hands while they perfect a medium that is already outmoded

It might have started like that, years ago, but is that where the focus is today? do you even keep up with any of the statements the company makes? I try to keep up, and have not seen that being stated as the focus beyond the days of what is closing in on ''years ago''

In 3D ? Where do you see this, sources please - or do you get your news from the ''cutting-edge-entertainment company'' meme people push around? They've been casting their net pretty wide, going with more experimental avenues, but the press releases of the past years have not been touting anything about revolutionary 3D tech, again do you have any links so we might learn more?

did you not account for all the other avenues in which hololive is trying to establish acceptable pipelines for their audience, that being shipping / merch / scheduling / events / weekly releases / original songs / albums / sponsorship deals - its alot of moving parts anon, if the company is not stating 3D as the specific mission, I think its a little narrow-minded for you to fault them for not throwing everything else overboard for the sake of being beyond everyone for a 3D concert. Do you know what the majority of their revenue stream is? Please try to moderate your expectations to reality instead of misconstrued perceptions anon, then maybe you wouldn't feel so disappointed. For a sub-company their size, they've done alright for themselves so far, considered there is a lot of things they also got wrong in trying to expand their expertise. But that is the standard growing pains of most companies trying to branch out. Frankly some of the smaller Indies like Vshojo have been really impressive in their ability to build a framework too. Vtubing is on the up and up, with sponsorship deals and accessibility growing, as well as people in the industry building expertise. Its good for all of us as viewers.
