Her debut was bad because she was hopped up on caffeine and had no sleep in 24 hours because she was helping the other EN members. A ton of people did a complete 180 and loved her right after the 2nd stream.
Even Korone's debut stream was absolutely awful (objectively much worse than Ame's), having a bad debut is nothing new in Hololive.

Amelia's debut and birthday streams are a black stain on Hololive history. I'm really glad she managed to overcome the terrible first impression and become what she is today.

Other anons have already replied, but the stream was pretty fucking cringe/sad. She had to talk about literally nothing for around 30 minutes before shilling her birthday merch for around other 20 minutes. By this point, it was pretty obvious she didn't plan anything at all and she was winging it. She did have some visuals and prepared HoloEN dakis and a cake + a background with fanart and shit, but that was it. She tried hosting an unannounced totsumachi and it was pretty sad because she actually kept hoping somebody would call her out of nowhere and was constantly saying things like "there's still like x minutes before the end so somebody might call..."
It also didn't help that she told stories about how she would invite classmates and friends to her birthday parties as a kid and nobody would come. Her caretakers would decorate the house and buy a ton of food for the guests but it would all go to waste. It was pretty painful, especially considering her current situation. Finally, she tried performing SSS live but choked and was so nervous (probably because she knew the stream was a train wreck at that point) that she ended up playing a pre-recorded version she had saved beforehand and lip-synced to it.
Mori didn't acknowledge Amelia's birthday until a day after, when viewers spammed her Twitter and her stream asking her wtf happened. She then made a Twitter post begging Ame for forgiveness.
The only good things to come out of that stream were the Ina and Gura conversations during the stream and the fact that Reine called literally a few minutes before Ame closed the line to wish her happy birthday cause she had just woken up and was casually watching her celebration stream, and saw her in peril. That gave Reine a lot of popularity points and many teamates subscribed to her and thanked her for rescuing Ame at that time.
That's it. If you haven't watched it, I really don't recommend it. I wouldn't put myself through all that again.

I watch these girls to relax, and watching people rage isn't relaxing. That's also why I tend to avoid Mori's game streams, since she seems to game with the intention of raging.

Once Kiara realized her best attribute was her chattering, she began choosing games that could be played on auto-pilot while chattering, and that made her a better streamer. Or games that allowed audience participation like Mario Kart and slither.io.

Mori Calli is the "mom friend" you used to have in the group. Genuinely cares about everyone and hopes they all have a great time and hook up with each other. Not for one second does she consider that you actually liked her. Eventually ends up with some randomer from outside the group and you never see her again.

Ame is the wierd indie girl who just likes doing her own thing and doesn't like being around too many people, using her silly jokes and music taste as a way to express herself better so she doesn't feel too awkward. I'm still upset my landlord refuses to outsource his window guy, the kike he sends over never fixes shit my window channel balances have been broken for 4 years now and I refuse to buy new ones when it isn't my property. Might break down this year though, summers are a pain in the ass. Kikes always win.
