I didn't until you reminded me. I like it, I think I understand a bit better the concept of "image soundtrack" or whatever it was called. I like to think that Ina discussed a bit more elements with Camellia than what we currently know and that the song was made taking this into account.
For the song itself, I think it uses a bit too much the thing where the sound is cut (starting here https://youtu.be/mRmNPlrUAh4?t=24 for example). Considering it's taking like half of the song and the thing you hear the most, I think it takes away from the song as a whole, but maybe I didn't understand it.
The progression of the song is pretty nice, the oriental touches are pretty good too, it feels like there's some traditional sacred music in there.
I don't know if it was made on purpose that there's an instrument that has almost the same time as a clock ticking, but it's a good idea, especially since it's going at different speeds.
As a whole, I'm honestly not a fan, and I lack the capacity to appreciate music that's well constructed but that I don't like.
I also don't really know when it's supposed to be used. It's not really a good intro, or outro, and a bit too strong for a BGM

A compressor is an audio effect that pushes the volume of different tracks together. Generally it's used to make things "stick" together.
But you can also use it in a different way, so you have an audio track control the volume of another audio track. So when the kick drum comes in it makes the other track(s) quieter for a short time. The most common thing you use it for is making the drums not muddy up the basslines. It comes up a lot, but usually you just sidechain the compression on the bass with the kick drum.
If you apply to it everything you create this sound you're familiar with from what I presume is EDM trap and future bass thing. I don't really know much about mainstream EDM, myself.

You should look at labels and artist releases instead. Many great electronic music artists don't really put out albums. If only because it's fairly inconvenient for the DJs to bring an album to the club and search tracks on it.

Vinyl records are still the centerpiece of electronic music, even now.

DJ culture. Which is still alive and well outside the mainstream EDM scene. Many people still play vinyls and it is still the main way to distribute electronic music. Sure there are digitial releases often, but vinyl exclusives are fairly common.

I don't really see how that would influence anything since it shouldn't be too hard to cut music in a way to use it when you're djing, and cut it another way for distribution. If I had to guess, the main reason is that people that really want to listen to this kind of music go in clubs and else to do so, and there's not really a market for people listening to full albums at home for niche things like that. A bit like touhou doujin music is mostly distributed still physically because the people that want to hear it in the first place will come at the event (and it makes it harder to copy and distribute it online)

I'll agree that pretty much everything after WLFGRL that isn't a bonus track compilation is pretty weak in terms of the lyrics and screamo vocals, but whenever someone posts alec empire or some footwork compilation because "he's ripping that off", the beats always sound nothing alike aside from the percussion and maybe some edgy vocal samples. Sure, but here's the next concern. Vinyl isn't cheap like CDs. Sure, you can can cut a 10 track album as two 2/3 sides or even as 2/2 2/2 1/1, but that costs money and cutting an album one way and then also another way costs even more money and once you realize that most electronic music is basically independently released or released by very small record labels, you understand that cost of production and distribution starts being a major concern.
Sure there's your Ostgut Tons and Warp Records and Ninja Tunes and all that, but those aren't the norm.
