Each girl is basically an IP they can use for merch and use in other projects down the line, like in gachas or whatever. Like, technically they CAN still use Coco or even Aloe. But doing so would bring on a sea of drama, especially if they tried to redebut them with new voices.
It’s far more beneficial in the long run to let Korone take time off indefinitely for health, or Haachama to take half a year off for school, or Sana to take a month off for dead dog than to force them into retirement because they didn’t stream 3 times a week.
