If that anon's still here that recommended me the yamaha mt5's, I had picked them up after testing em out in person. Overall I like how they sound, much less "Flat" sounding than mt40x's and have a better soundstage for a closedback. Only complaint I have is that the highs sound a bit odd and that I definitely need to get those earcups you recommended. Overall I'm quite happy with them!

Which I would find strange because Ame herself said she sent pictures of dresses to Nabi to show what kind of outfit she wanted. After that I assume Nabi showed her sketches before she actually starts it for real. Basically because of this I can't understand how any vtuber could ever be disappointed in an outfit they have had input towards.

Yesterday Ame consciously chose the JP dub of Porco Rosso as a way to do her JP reps, and I'd say it was a good step for her to learn some JP vocabs.
In the spirit of her new year's resolution, how about suggesting weekly/bi-weekly JP movies watch-along? It can go after the Super Sunday slot just like yesterday, for a chill Sunday overall (no real effort for some "exciting" streams).

It can alternate between King of the Hill and a JP movie every other Sunday, or a double-feature if she's not in the mood for a Super Sunday.

Agreed, but she has had that idea since August around Council's debut and it has gone nowhere since then. She seemed so serious in doing her JP reps too back then, just like recently after her NY outfit reveal.

My suspicion is that either she's paranoid, or she sees doing JP reps as something optional.
By giving it a weekly stream slot (guised as a watch-along), hopefully she sees it more as a job/obligation more. A little pressure helps.
Hopefully after she finds the joy of learning (or the urgency), she can start to seriously eye a tutor to help.

If you want my advice, the best thing you can do is just draw and do it every day, even if its only 15 minutes! It's all about brush mileage and being willing to accept you're gonna fail and fail a lot. Some good starting points would be either Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain or Keys to Drawing, doesn't really matter which one. Just skim through both of em and pick whatever one vibes with you the most and remember, have fun and be willing to fail!

Nah, DS would be awfully difficult for Ame, not because the game itself is difficult, but due to its unforgiving nature to recklessness. She likes to go fast in every action game I've seen her play and DS is definitely not a game where you can go fast and expect something else than punishment, adding to that it's one of the games where you can lose a lot of progress over a single mistake, something Ame hates. It would be fun to see her beat out of spite tho.
