I've watched a few streams of this game and this one was unironically the best gameplay-wise simply because they had a desire to at least attempt stealth and spend their skill points even if they're too shit at vidya and ADHD-riddled to accomplish much. Still, Payday has a learning curve and plenty of eurojank you have to learn to deal with so I hope they learn more about the game and play it more even if that's just me being naively optimistic.

PD2 is notoriously difficult to get into, especially now, after 8 years worth of updates. It's needlessly complicated and doesn't teach anything so you have to go look for guides

I actually think most people would fail that continuation mission with the chopper escape the first time they play it. The first objective they give you there is to survive until the chopper arrives so most people would hole up inside at a choke point or something but when the chopper arrives they tell you to grab the loot. They didn't tell you to grab the loot at the beginning of the mission when it was easily doable they told you to grab it after the chopper arrived and the place was swarming with dozens of police officers making going to get it a suicide mission.
