Do you think vtubers call each other by their vtuber names even when not streaming? Maybe that way they can avoid any slip ups.

Yes they do and we have had this same discussion 100 times already.

Probably best they always assume the stream is on when on the computer. Too many accidental live moments for them not to.

They probably don't because if someone overheard them it would be game over for their OpSec.

maybe they won't tell their actual name in the first place, since someone like nene exist

Do they even know their roomate names? I think it would be a good idea for these vtuber companies to not divulge that information even amongst their talent.

When Coco broke down because of chinkery a month or so ago she called Kanata by "Kanatan".
And that was with emotions on full blast and tears just about breaking through despite great effort on her part to suppress it.
This tells me that they probably do call themselves by their screen names out of habit as only habit would've stopped her calling Kanata by her real name in such a moment where regular self control breaks down.

bro, modern workplaces in general are an arbitrary construct. they're not a natural gathering of people for natural reasons. you don't get to choose your coworkers, they're just other people who are (un)fortunate enough to work the same position as you. there is no real reason why you should be anything beyond distantly polite with them.

choosing to not waste your time interacting with people that you really don't want or need to isn't unsociable. I'm sorry that you haven't realized that it's your life and feeling pressured by other people because "everyone else does it" is the kind of mentality that gives rise to a mid life crisis.

>> No.1720914

>>1709849
Workplaces literally are natural places of gathering. Few things are more natural than people gathering to work together. If you don't collaborate at work either your particular workplace is shit or you're completely autistic or both. Talking to people you can't even see behind anonymity is what's unnatural.

>natural places of gathering
I would agree with you if everyone was working their ideal job, but it's definitely not natural to be doing some arbitrary task with an arbitrary group of people that you have zero connection to. natural workplaces like startups and small business are often formed by groups of like minded people. coworkers in the corporate/industrial sphere are a completely different thing and I don't think that it's an outrageous distinction.

>> No.1721119

The whole point is that you have a natural reason to get along with people you otherwise wouldn't have ever cared about. Natural doesn't mean your ideal or what you wish for. You make do with what you have and build on it. That's what develops character and natural relationships. If you don't like the workplace topic then think of the military and how it can make even a racist and a nigger care about each other like brothers.

I never said I don't get along with my coworkers I don't know why you keep repeating this. Being reserved about your social life with the people you work with is perfectly normal. Why do you think it's called your "work" life and your "PRIVATE" life?
>Natural doesn't mean your ideal or what you wish for
You're right, but it does mean something that occurs in nature. Humans do not naturally form factories or office buildings full of cubicles without societal pressure. Giving into this pressure is a mistake, there's no reason to.
