Pekora had a project she wanted to get done, but management said no to it. When she got the notice that they had rejected it, she broken down on stream and immediately took a one week break. Rrats as to what the project was have swirled around, but many suspected it was some sort of IRL meetup since it was 'something other vtubers had done before' or something.
Regardless, from that point on she didn't really do SC readings because she felt she was unable to give back to her fans using said money.
