I absolutely love both Gura and Moris singing and their individual tracks are always amazing but I feel like their collaborative efforts fall a bit flat. I think there are a few issues, first that their songs really sound like each part is sung in a vacuum which makes sense because it's not like Gura and Mori can sing in together in real time and get that immediate feedback loop. Also, Mori sings very contemporary but Gura tends to go off a bit and it's jarring. Finally, I think their comfortable singing registers are quite different for the sorts of songs that are being written. I think perhaps if they tried singing something in a lower register together, the result could be better.

But her tone and articulation are above average when she sings in her range. It is more clear when she hits notes and holds them. That's why slower songs are a buff for her to show her strengths. I have listened to them in the past and quickly decided if I like them or not. If I remember correctly,
AZKi, Sora, and Kanata have piercing, textured voices and is uncomfortable to listen to. I think Gura surpasses them in tone quality at least in her comfortable range.
Suisei is really good but there is something unsettling about her singing in her karaokes. Like her dynamic control so it sounds like someone screaming at me the whole song and not telling a story as the song should. Songs with processing makes Suisei sound better.
Watame, Towa, Mio, Laplus are hit or miss. They are inconsistent with their quality of singing. Covers that they have done, I found ones I like better.
Aki, I haven't heard her sing.
Moona is good as well and can be expressive. Honestly I should be listening to more of her. But her range is very common and I listen to other vtubers sing.
Risu has a large range and is amazing for that. But is more of a jack-of all trades in terms of range but not an expert at anything else.
Okayu, I absolutely love her singing. I would say she is the contralto, Gura. And I wish they would do a cover together.

Overall, most of JP and ID have inconsistent quality in their singing or have an unpleasant tone when singing. I have been an Idolm@ster fan for over a decade and I am use to listening to many voice actors with varying levels of singing skills try to sing in-character and out-of character covering different genres of songs. So, there's some credibility and not completely out of my ass.

Gura's voice is beautiful, range and technical skill are important, but most people don't care about "very good singers that would win The Voice" people like a pretty voice, the rest is fixed in studio lol. Holo has "better singers", but hardly one with a prettier voice.

That said, almost any Holo could be huge musically just by selecting better artists to write for them, regardless of talent. But she's hardlocked into a certain category where she sounds almost identical in every song.
