You're already speaking the best language. But if you really had to learn a second language, put in those hours learning Kanji to use and start learning Chinese since thats a language that can actually get you employed.
If you're starting on a fresh, then learn French, Vietnamese, Persian or Turkish, since the countries that speak those language are the ones most likely to experience an upswing in years to come.

They do actually have good looking futures. BUT if you don't want to believe me on these though, Russian is still worth using as well. Just don't waste your time learning Japanese. There are so few gains for a language that is so hard to learn.

Anyone who's ever attempted it will tell you that learning a language is nearly impossible unless you have genuine passion for the language itself. Attaining some level of functionality in a foreign language strictly for employment reasons is possible, but I have never met anyone who's progressed beyond that into native levels of fluency unless they fell in love with the culture/language whatever.
There are stone cold killers out there like CIA agents who learn foreign languages purely because of their job but that type of dedication is not present on this board. "Learn this other language because it's more useful" is flaccid advice, if you don't have the passion you're not going to make it.
