Unironically Hololive needs more people like Kiara and to a lesser extent Ollie, as in people who genuinely love Hololive and are ride or die for the team the whole way through. Need people who actually like streaming and are willing to put in long hours not because they have to, but because they genuinely enjoy doing it. Need people with strong, memorable personalities, and not the kind who are just gonna sit there playing games and blankly pretend to have a reaction with a deadpan voice. Need people willing to step out of their own little world and actively make friends with the other Holo girls, and do their best to grow the Hololive brand. Need people who can go on random ass tangents for hours. Need people who actually want to engage with the community outside of streams and don't just go radio silent.
Most importantly, need people who understand that Hololive comes with caveats and downsides, yet are still going to try their best despite those downsides and not go depressed menhera, start a huge rebellion, or just fuck off and stop streaming without a word.
I realize not all of these points apply to Kiara and Ollie perfectly, but they're the best examples I can think of.

I mean, from an outside perspective it doesn't really matter what their reason for not streaming is, whether they "didn't really love streaming in the first place" or "they actually did love streaming, they just can't deal with the big audience pressure now", when the end result for the observer is the same - not getting enough streams from them in either way.

I know the latter reason at least sounds slightly better, first for the uwu poor widdle anxious girl sympathybait factor, second for the hope that okay maybe they'll grow into it over time, and you can't exactly filter those people out everytime at the audition stage already because you can't exactly predict how everyone will react to big spotlight popularity, so some will probably always make it in. For all of Kiara's frustration of being stuck alone in the yuro zone and having no vtuber friends to play with, she doesn't really make much serious moves to build connections and networks to other european chuubas (not even for the big plan to nepotism them into Hololive later, but just to hang out casually or anything).
