I'm just happy she'll be in a more comfortable living arrangement. Moving is fucking stressful enough as is, and being able to find a quality living space that puts you more at ease is a huge deal. Looking forward to her moving in, hopefully getting some decent rest, and then returning with renewed vigor.

In the meantime? Work keeps me busy, so I'll be on autopilot. Gura has an ASMR stream tomorrow with the 3D mic, so that will be good. Other than that, I'll probably clock some more overtime to send an aka or two next week.

like others said, why do clippers actually deserve anything? It takes no effort to clip, you just watch the stream like everyone else, but when something happens that people would find interesting, you record it, find artwork someone else made, come up with a misleading title 9 times out of 10, and then post your clip on youtube and rake in cash. Usually the only bit of original effort on their part is translation (which is usually of horrific quality) or subtitles.
Regardless though, part of her motivation to just hire a clipper was because she dislikes the fact that the majority of clippers end up presenting the holo in a way that is just flat out inaccurate or even sometimes straight up a lie. Why do you think you see so many newfags or clipwatchers who say inane shit that makes absolutely no sense? Theres a reason that most clipfags think that all the holos are perverted raging lesbians, and thats because they exclusively watch clips which present nothing but shit like that because people would rather see that.
If you dont believe me, just look up clips and tell me how representative of the holo it is.

I noticed random clips of Ame dotted around my YouTube in October and I watched a couple out of interest. Then I fully started watching Hololive streams the following November, and by default tuned into Ame the most because she seemed the funniest. I watched her debut but didn't immediately subscribed or watched her. Once the EN models were revealed i 100% thought i was gonna simp for Ina, i'm a horror junkie, purple is my favorite color and i used to draw a lot in my youth, i ended up in a creative career.

And i like Ina, a lot, if shes streaming i'll usually hop on but i've never felt the way i do about anyone but Ame. I think the first full stream i caught from her was Apex and Chill #4 because nobody else was streaming, i'm pretty sure Ina had stopped streaming and my Youtube just autoplayed Ame's stream.

I'm not completely sure what is it about Ame that captivated me so much, i don't like fps games, i thought her design was the second worst of the whole group. Its all about personality for me, she caught my heart and never let go.

I've been watching Korone since early last year, watched all the Holo EN girls debut streams and felt like I'd never get into them. Around November, I started watching more Gura, Kiara, and Calli. They didn't really click with me, but I liked their personalities enough. I'd barely seen any Ame streams until I had two weeks of vacation right after the New Year.

I for whatever reason checked out a livestream and got hooked. She was so earnest, and felt genuine. She sounded vastly more comfortable with streaming and interacting with the audience compared to her debut. She's cute, funny, and doesn't force awkward conversations. She just goes with the flow, has fun tangents, and brings lots of charisma and entertainment to each stream. She's such a hard-worker, and supports her fellow genmates immensely (and is always being supportive of other hololive members). Act or not, Ame feel the most genuine of the bunch, and it feels like having a bro that could sit around with and shoot the shit with for hours and willingly let myself be teased by her taunts, japes, and light lewd jokes.

Anyway, I've pretty much been tuning in for the last three months almost every stream live. She's definitely made my days a lot more fun and eventful, and I'm quite thankful for that.

Follow up question: Do you guys feel like you've been missing out since you weren't around since day one, or do you think that like, shouldn't matter too much?
Reason I've been asking is because I also only got into Hololive in general only a few months ago, and it feels like I've been missing out on some stuff; there's vods of course, but it's not the same, and some stuff are even unarchived
But Ame is my absolute favourite and I completely adore her, I guess I just wanted to know if others were in the same boat as me, being latecomers and all

I suppose it sucks that I missed some of it. But It didn't take all that long to get caught up with the main stuff. I just browsed the /jp/ threads a lot and did VoD reps for some of the streams recommended and I got what I needed (only thing missed is the experience of watching it live and discussions here). But since then I've had 4/6 months of Ame to experience live and what matters anyway is the here and now.

One of the things I strangely regret missing out on is the sound of her voice with her old microphone. For some reason I really liked the ever so slightly deeper pitch her old microphone picked up.

As others have said, I'm looking forward to longer streams again if that is apparently going to be the case once she's done moving. Ina, Gura, Kiara - They all do these 5-6 hour streams now and its great. While Ame now sticks to the 2 hour mark unless its something she can't just end on the spot, such as a Collab or SC reading. I guess we'll soon see how much this was down to her ISP and searching for a new place.

I had been trying to bring up the potential growth Ame could see by hiring an editor for stream highlights here for the past 3 weeks or so and it ended up working out since she mentioned she was considering hiring an editor during a recent Super Sunday? That being said, I agree with you, as there's already so much room for improvement with group collabs even within HoloEN and if I were in their shoes, I'd be prioritizing improving group/one-on-one dynamics within EN over fishing for collabs with indies/other Youtubers. Strong streamer friend groups have a ton of mainstream appeal right now (think OfflineTV, etc) and making it so collabs are just as enjoyable as solo streams could boost everyone's numbers in Holo if the group chemistry is improved organically.

I think she's taking the ignore route due to the minor drama that happened when she spoke up about the people in chat asking for an Uto collab. Minor drama yes, but Twitter drama can blow up and it was one of the things some people used against Uto. I don't think Ame ever intended for her words to harm Uto when she's trying to tard wrangle chat.
