I think that /who/'s land grab over /uuu/, which mind you wasn't approved by a vote before, deserves to have another vote after several threads have voiced their concerns with it and abstaining from the vote.

It was lost in the middle of a massive voting block while it's arguably one of the most pressing issues here.

That works. In that case, these two videos should give a decent overview of the environment of Cfa and Csa on /nasfaqg/.

Cfa: https://youtu.be/FHj71X_k8h0
Csa: https://youtu.be/uk9Fyw2Okyw

The main difference is that Cfa is wet all year, while Csa has a dry summer season (where plants will have to shred their leaves to preserve water, leading to fewer evergreen trees). Fog might be a common feature too.

>Here you go. These poles are painted white so you know where the road will be. The torches are in case you intend to work at night. You can do this at your own pace.
>We have also used the same white paint to mark any trees that are to be chopped down. We have already chooped down a few ourselves.
>So far we only have about a quarter of the road marked but we are working on the rest.
>The wood will be evenly distributed. You can use it for your port city and a lot fo it will go to the center hub. A good amount of it will go to our pinisi ships when you teach us how to make those.

It's not bullshit because that's what happened. The poal was clearly showed people wanted to take /uuu/ back from /who/ but it didn't matter because, at the time, most reps voted to let them keep it. And the vote and discussion to take it from them ONLY happened after /inf/ took /risu/ as a protectorate. There was no discussion about *not* being land grabbers until we did it.

I am. And I see bias here, but we have to find ways to stop it, not entering in loops and fights with other generals. Lets see what we can do for ourselves, we haven't write lore for a while, we can do that. And we have to enforce in our thread the limits decided here. We have been talking about cleaning our act for long, and we've been making waves with trying to recruit generals and making fun projects with them. I like modern stuff, but if we can't have them, we can't. IF, and only IF, /who/or anyone else gets something we've got denied we can push for it back, but not like right away, let the opinion evolve a couple or day and maybe /who/ or any other may not get that. Not everyone is 24/7 in the thread.

Be Grand Mage of the /hlg/ Empire.
The secret cabal of esoteric magocracy have elected you to test their new device.
A vessel that can travel through time.
Powered by every chuubanite in existence. Even some that are impossible to obtain.
Who even still worship Siro? What kind of goddess is this 'Aloe'?
Doesnt matter, the device is ready.
The cockpit closes and the values are punched in.
The Divine Head Mage gives his last prayers to high goddess Sora and Azki
Without fear, you set off on your journey.
You land in your first destination.
If the wizards were right, in this timeline the worship of the primordial titanomachy never faded away.
You came across a traveling merchant and ask where are you and who does he worship.
He answered this is the Empire of Ai. Everyone here worships the same goddess Kizuna Ai.
It worked. IT WORKED!
After spending a week collecting documents, tomes, and artifacts from this new world in your vessel, you ready your machine and prepare to head back home.
Or so you think.
As the vessel lands, you realized that the world is different than usual.
Meeting the locals, you question them.
In this timeline, the worship of every deity of every pantheon was crushed under a regime of Phaseconnect.
Only Pippa, Uruka, and Tenma remains.
Not wanting to get arrested by the inquisition, you immediately escape to another world.
One where half of the world is flooded as the ice melted. A world where the Diluvian Thalassocracy of /ggg/ rules supreme over the planet
Another jump
Radiation and magic storms rage the planet. A world where the Holo Empire collapsed and the entire pantheon slain. The world of the 7th trumpet.
Another jump
A world inhabited only by independent and minor deities. Every grand pantheon from Holo, Niji, 774, Vshojo, was slain. /meat/ succeeded in this one.
Another jump!
You wont be coming home soon

Anyway, Round 2 Votes, as well as a couple additional matters:

Regarding thread management:
As I have not received any replies to >>20409001 regarding the voting system yet, I am setting it to vote again.
>What percentage of an answer should said answer have for it to take effect, ie >50%, >60%, >70% etc
>What happens if no answer passes the threshold? Revote with no Abstain option, vote fails, other suggestion?
>What happens in a two-way or three-way tie?
>What happens if the majority Abstains/is Undecided?

>Do we want a rep to be responsible for making posts like this one, where matters are voted on? Y/N
Summary: 3Y, 3N, 3U/A. Three-way tie, we either tiebreak or the vote does not pass.
The question to be voted on remains the same, but I am open to suggestions.

>As a matter of fact, what should the name of the planet be?
Summary: Multiple proposals but no convergence. Will require further examination. TBD
Current proposals include: Eavth, Planet - /vt/, Chubaearth, Vitalia, Vitria, Veetee, /vt/.
I personally believe this needs to be voted on for us to have some sort of consistency, though opinions differ.
Changing the question to:
>Should there be a unified name for the planet across all nations? Y/N

>Should /fbk/'s and /mion/'s locations be swapped? Y/N
Summary: 3Y, 6A. Vote does not pass. It seems most voters were not aware of the situation to vote.
This was a Sakuran proposal. I did think of including the details of the proposal in the question itself but I opted out of it in the end. I see now that was a mistake.
Therefore, this prompt will be revoted on. This time, I will be attaching the explanation Sakuran gave in their voting post:
>I have explained this before, but FBK interacts with the Stars in some degree, while Mio does not. This doesn't necessarily mean the threads themselves reflect this, but it would definitely make more sense if they were swapped. Additionally, FBK is an arctic fox, so being further north than Mio, who is I think a wolf in alpine forests, would make sense.
If the change were to be made, I would also suggest changing the size of the borders a bit, as /fbk/ is also represented in /bakatare/ and would get a bigger piece of land, while /mion/'s land would become smaller in the swap. /fbk/'s new land would be frozen however, so that should be accounted for

>Should /OKFAMS/ be also added on the map, perhaps around the area of /duck/, /mogu+/doog/, /fbk/, /mion/?
Y/N
Summary: 4Y, 2N, 3A. Results indecisive.
Sakuran retracts the proposal and puts it on hold until the end of March.

>Should /israel/ and [insert another new thread I forgot the name of] be added on the map? Y/N
Summary: 4Y, 3N, 2A for /aa/, 3Y, 3N, 3A for /israel/. Results indecisive, no clear majority.
Results could go either way depending on the Abstains. Reformulated:
>Should this be put on hold until the end of the
month to check again, or should /aa/ get a nation but /israel/ does not?

>What should happen at the poles?
Summary: Multiple proposals, converges on an ocean and a land mass.
On hold until >>20440107 returns with their proposals.

Regarding the Rushia situation:
>Regarding Jannies and the smiting that may or may not be incorporated into Rushia lore; what are they in
regards to our world/pantheon, and what effects and powers do they have? Specifically, assuming their existence
is acknowledged, what can be said for eg /meat/, that gets deleted on a regular basis?
Summary: Multiple suggestions, generally converge on jannies having mythical powers. Reformulated:
>Should we decide on further parameters, or reduce this to a discussion point and suggest lore when necessary?

>If the answer to the above is the former, what happens when the land the Chuubanite is on changes owner?
Summary: 2 for Qualities change accordingly, 2 for Qualities are lost when owner changes, 2 for Qualities remain
until exhausted/decayed, 2A, 1n/a. No real convergence, needs to be discussed further.
Results need to be clarified, therefore reformulated to:
>If/When a land changes owner, or when a piece of Chuubanite leaves the Area of Influence of its related deity, does the it lose it's powers and qualities (decaying slowly, as per /meat/, still counts as this) or does it keep them but no more of that type of Chuubanite is generated in the area?

Additional question from the last thread:
>Steam trains? Y/N

Regarding the /who/-/uuu/ matter:
The proposal was put to vote to reverse the changes. The vote did not pass. Your complaints to the reps. Nevertheless, due to people suggesting it, I will put additional things to vote:
>Vote suggestions can be made by everyone, obviously, however what about requesting to amend proposals that have reached a conclusion? Should amendments to previous proposals be able to be initiated? Y/N
>Should those suggestions for amendment require a set number of reps to be initiated, or can they be initiated by any anon?
>Following the above, how many recommendations should an amendment suggestion require before being put to vote?
If the answer to the above three questions are "Yes", "By everyone" and "<=3" (as there have been 3 anons asking for revote so far), then the following prompt is voted upon now, meaning votes replying to this post are counted.
If the answer to the above three questions are "Yes", "Representatives" and "[number TBD]", then the next prompt is not voted upon now and is postponed until enough representatives in accordance to [number TBD] voice their support for amendment.
If the answer to the initial question is "No", meaning no amendments are possible, the next prompt is invalidated and the acquisition of /uuu/ land by /who/ is final.
Reply to the prompt anyway, regardless of your previous answers.
Prompt:
>Should the land acquisition of /who/ over /uuu/ be voided? Y/N

Final Note: Let me reiterate, poal links *hold no power*, as per decision from last post. Only vote posts are valid.

Proposal: Non-standard aka 'advanced' technology like trains, internet, radar, teleportation, flight are allowed under two conditions.

Condition A: Said technology must utilize Vtubium in any form
A1: The technology must either built using Chuubanite alloy, powered by chuubanite gems, contains Vtubium fluids, a plasma Vtubium engine, etc
A2: The technology in question must obey the principle of the Vtubium used. Sana powered vessels cannot go underwater, VSPO vtuber powered weapons only works ranged, meat chuuba powered tech are related to organic material or human psyche

Condition B: Said technology must designed in a low fantasy-punk image
Best example are works such as ATLA where monorails are moved using magic wielders and cannons require fuel from magic users.
Flying vehicles could either use anti-grav magic, or hot air balloons filled with gaseous Vtubium.
/risu/ could use a series of caravan wagons pulled by fantasy beasts as a makeshift 'train/truck/ hybrid.
/ggg/ ships are shaped like fish to reach 100 knots.

tldr: GET CREATIVE!

No, nations should have the option for their own name for the planet, they could also decide to use the same name for the planet as other nations, but it should not be enforced

Sure, I think it's fine, they aren't present yet so it's not much trouble
>Should this be put on hold until the end of the month to check again, or should /aa/ get a nation but /israel/ does not?
Wait until the end of the month, if /aa/ is still alive then yes
>Should we decide on further parameters, or reduce this to a discussion point and suggest lore when necessary?
Basic parameters should be decided so that the newfags that want to write lore know what and how to do it.

Chuubanite is chuubanite, if it bonds with a material then it holds the properties of that material until it gets de-bounded, usage of chuubanite is technical, nations ought to be careful so that their techniques don't get stolen.

I'm pretty sure the majority of timeloops since the start of this project have centered around arguing for realism

>> No.20477566

>>20476628
I think it would be primarily divided into two somewhat similar climate types:
> Humid subtropical (Cfa): eastern coast
> Monsoon subtropical (Cwa): northern coast
There might be small patches of another climate types:
> Hot steppe (BSh): southern tip of western coast
Eastern coast is relatively simple: warm current from the tropics flow off shore of /risu/ until it reaches around /pol/ka, bringing warn and moist air to the land.
For western coast, normally the cold current flowing between /risu/ and /morig/ would bring cold (relatively speaking) and dry air to the western coast, giving it a hot steppe or even hot desert climate.
However, the size of holo continent means it will create a strong monsoon (probably the strongest on this planet), meaning that during summer the prevailing wind of southern and southeastern holo continent will turn to blowing inland, which has the result of giving those places a *very* wet summer. Because of that, most of the /risu/ closer to the continent proper will be wetter in summer and drier in winter.
As such, I think it makes sense that western coast of /risu/ will have a monsoon subtropical climate instead: raining like hell in summer, and dry as bone in winter. the southernmost part of /risu/ might be too far from the continent to have such a strong effect, though, which is why it might have an odd patch of different climate there.
As for the biome, following what /risu/ wants, it will likely be mostly tropical rainforest, although the sharp difference between wet and dry season means it likely won't be evergreen. Basically, during wet season, the forest will be lush with green trees. During dry season, though, many of these trees will lost their leaves to reduce water loss, which makes the floor of the forest more exposed to sunlight, where more arid-resistant shrubs will bloom before the trees grow their leaves again. While this applies to the whole area, evergreen will be more common in the east, while the west will be more seasonal, and the southern part might begin to see the woods getting sparser, although it might not be too obvious before reaching tropical rainforest in bakatare again.

Rivers and wetlands will also likely be common in the eastern coast and northwestern coast, although they might get covered by the aforementioned forest.
Does your resource pack have mangrove forests?

I suppose /nasa/ will put in the vote since I have the time.

>What percentage of an answer should said answer have for it to take effect, ie >50%, >60%, >70% etc
Filibuster is about 60%. So we'll go with that.
>What happens if no answer passes the threshold? Revote with no Abstain option, vote fails, other suggestion?
Revote with no abstain.
>What happens in a two-way or three-way tie?
Revote the popular options with no abstain.
>What happens if the majority Abstains/is Undecided?
The proposal has to to be revised and voted again on until abstains are minimized as with laws. Language should be clear where votes will be yes or no.

>Do we want a rep to be responsible for making posts like this one, where matters are voted on? Y/N
Yes, because they will tally the votes at the end.

>As a matter of fact, what should the name of the planet be?
/nasa/ will not vote on this. /nasa/ are off-worlders. So we'll adapt the planet's name to whatever the locals call it.

>Should there be a unified name for the planet across all nations? Y/N
Every language usually has a word for "the earth". So yes, even if the word is in different languages.

>Should /fbk/'s and /mion/'s locations be swapped? Y/N
After reading Sakuran's proposal then yes.

>Should /OKFAMS/ be also added on the map, perhaps around the area of /duck/, /mogu+/doog/, /fbk/, /mion/?
If they are a new general then yes.

>Should /israel/ and [insert another new thread I forgot the name of] be added on the map? Y/N
If they are a new general then yes.

>Should this be put on hold until the end of the month to check again, or should /aa/ get a nation but /israel/ does not?
End of the month hold sounds good. Gives the generals enough time to stick around so yes.

>What should happen at the poles?
The north can add straits. The south could be an ice glacier full of frozen sea.

>Regarding Jannies and the smiting that may or may not be incorporated into Rushia lore; what are they in regards to our world/pantheon, and what effects and powers do they have? Specifically, assuming their existence is acknowledged, what can be said for eg /meat/, that gets deleted on a regular basis?
Jannies are natural disasters personified as 300 pound men that do it for free and eat hot pockets.

>Should we decide on further parameters, or reduce this to a discussion point and suggest lore when necessary?
The end of every general should have a story written by those within the general.

>If the answer to the above is the former, what happens when the land the Chuubanite is on changes owner?
The chuubanite can remain in the land until another settlement takes over. Chuubanite is versatile and will be crafted to whatever the new general needs.

>If/When a land changes owner, or when a piece of Chuubanite leaves the Area of Influence of its related deity, does the it lose it's powers and qualities (decaying slowly, as per /meat/, still counts as this) or does it keep them but no more of that type of Chuubanite is generated in the area?
Energized vitubium loses power over time as all batteries do. Vitubium needs to be recharged once in a while or it'll lose its power.
Chuubanite/vitubium forged into other materials with no energy storage properties are unaffected. This includes alloys of steel, plant saps, and insulation.

>Steam trains? Y/N
No. Not in this age. I understand if you can boil water you can create steam engines. But we're at least a century away from steam power even with chuubanite.

>Vote suggestions can be made by everyone, obviously, however what about requesting to amend proposals that have reached a conclusion? Should amendments to previous proposals be able to be initiated? Y/N
Yes. /uuu/ really needs a representative. That said I see no problems with starting debates with amendments.
>Should those suggestions for amendment require a set number of reps to be initiated, or can they be initiated by any anon?
Ideas and debate can be initiated by anyone but reps need to start the vote.
>Following the above, how many recommendations should an amendment suggestion require before being put to vote?
As many as necessary. This is one of those things where you have to be reasonable and try to have as few as possible.

>Should the land acquisition of /who/ over /uuu/ be voided? Y/N
/nasa/ will not vote on this matter.

Throughout their cooperation with /infinity/ the Risuners realized one thing. The dastardly savage pirates that occasionally raid their coastal towns at this time of the year did not came.
In fact, there were no raids ever since the clockmen arrived.
The fuzzy people were overjoyed at first, believing that these weird foreigners finally rid their seas of the horrid barbarians!
Then they saw a Kronie admiral landing on the port.
Accompanied by three of those savages.
Carrying out his orders.

Hi OGsuner, this is a proposal for priority on making the trade roads. We agree those routes proposed by some risuner (ri2ner?), but to be more productive we have to prioritize construction. We should make four ports, and given our joint effort and considering your own trade necessities, we could divide management of each ports. The suggestion is on the map attached.

https://files.catbox.moe/lslfcd.png

We consider that making the route to kfp be the first priority as they are an ally of us. Road to /mep/ will come later, as we have to finish our deal of alliance even thought we consider it a done deal. Finally, the connecting road between the two routes should be made and then in between cities (or towns if a big scale population is against your desires) to facilitate the movement of trade convoys.

I will run this propose at my thread immediately after posting it here, I just wanted to answer the fast moving risuners here on /vtwbg/.

That video is a great resource on where to place minerals, although the issue with applying it to /morig/ is that /morig/ is a large igneous province, as noted in the geology analysis document. Basically, volcanism on /morig/ is caused by the plate sitting on a hotspot rather than plates crashing into each other. As such, the distribution does not follow the one mentioned in the video (which concerns orogens mostly).
According to wiki, LIP is associated with IOCG deposit Ni-Cu PGE and kimberlite (diamond). That said, you might still get some degree of porphyry copper and epithermal gold (as they come from hydrothermal vents, which the hotspot melts and brings up to the surface), but the concentration might be less dense than in orogen, since it's only melting a spot on the plate instead of the whole convergent boundary. For RL comparison, Madagascar seems fairly similar, so you might want to look into its mineral and gemstone deposit.
As for climate, /morig/'s climate will be primarily influenced by a cold current flowing between /morig/ and /risu/, while being on the path of monsoon generated by the holo continent. Combined with the ocean's moderating effect, the climate might end up being either tropical monsoon (Am, think Miami) and tropical savannah (Aw, think Manila or Havana), or monsoon subtropical (Cwa, think Hong Kong). Given the size of /morig/, it might well be a mix of three. Its land will likely be tropical seasonal forest, although shrubland and grassland can also be mixed in it, especially when human(oid) activities are taken into account. Wetland should be plentiful so you might get some residual mineral deposit in the swamp beneath the woodland. Then again, it's not like our tech level can utilise bauxite.

Vikings (I know, that's a job and not a culture) are the original inspiration when it comes to raiding, although Aztecs are also thrown in when it comes to culture since we got put in the tropics. Vikings might be infamous as raiders, but they're also successful traders, so I think that shows raiding and trading can coexist, so /meat/ being able to make friends while still conducting raids (maybe not against the same target, but still) shouldn't be too strange given the early modern period. Plus, OOCly, /meat/ raids (and trades, for that matter) are only as successful as the other threads want to, so how /meat/ interacts with them can easily be tailored for each case.

Yes thats true and kind of the issue. A lot of the trading partners they have are the ones they would have been raiding or are close to one who were raided. It would make sense for them to trade with /nasfaq/, /ahoy/ , /infinty/ , and the ninjis would make sense but /risu/ , /mep/ and the others in that hololive ocean would have been their primary raiding targets , assume /meat/ was getting past /morig/, which makes making them their trading partners a little odd. Speaking from PPT
Proposal for all northern sea nations
Let us form a trade league which will be mutually beneficial and guarantee the independence of it's members.
Aim 1 will be to secure naval peace for the sea turning it into a great fortress with which we can entrust our backs.
Aim 2 will be to secure economic prosperity for all members. Food trade will be essential for our cold lands.
Aim 3 protecting independence
This is not a formal alliance and will not be involved with minor disputes or border clashes but we will defend each other in major defensive wars

I wish to base it on the real world Hansa https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hanseatic_League
Which also works for being within the Holo sphere, equivalent to HRE.

I know 90% of you guys don't post much but I thought it would be a fun idea I couldn't hold it back. And it feeds into the new landmass discussion. In short, if we were to align our trade policies we could let ShishiLamy have the one straight, control who we wanted to tax and create a peaceful trade sea which would be more of a league lake.

The only problem left, the great enemy, is the ice.

Another thing I was thinking along these lines is that, while ShishiLamy controlling the one straight looks like they hold enormous power, there are certain choke points a nation could hold that would counter theirs. Worst case scenario we get into a tariff war and kill the trade. However the possibility of there being a war in the first place proves simply holding the straight aren't the keys to the sea trade. By just the threat of policing and taxing these points here we can work out a friendly deal between us to relax the taxes.

As for the two straight option there's no downside however I simply think it's geography looks unappealing. Stories of braving the "schizo straight" do sound appealing however.

Early steamships were hybrids ships, where they have both sailing rigs and a steam engine. Pic related is what they look like your average frigate of the era, except it has a smokestack.
Before you get worried about anything. These early steamships require a lot of fuel to use the steam engine so unless the sitution requires it, the steamships rely on their sails for travel. Plus the engine itself only gives a slight speed advantage over sailing ships of the era, so speed is not a factor. Overall the steamships would have a short operational distance, and because fuel (coal in this case) takes up most of their hold, they would not be practical for commercial shipping fleets. At best it would be used to transport small, but extremely valuable goods, or ferry VIPs and diplomats and make most of the journey by sail anyway. So /nasfagq/ doesn't need to worry about these ships undercutting their business.

Those drawbacks are why I said any streamships deployed to aid /risu/ would be entirely situational on if /risu/ has fuel to maintain them.

As for the ironclads, those are 100% constrained to the main island and are not ocean worthy. Plus any worry about a work around I.E. /∞/ building a shipyard on another continent that is capable of producing them, is null because of fear that the shipyard would be captured and used to produce ironclads that would then be used against /∞/ and their allies.

I'd say they're similarly sized, look for yourself. Europe is a bit bigger, depending on how you include nordic and Mediterranean countries.

I didn't think ∞ was that far north.

My brain immediately thought that looked like a butt, I'm so dumb...

Oh, I moved it. I just eyeballed it for now, still need to get /inf/'s approval. The were concerned with not being cold enough with the 15 degree latitude shift.

>> No.20496610

>>20496554
Just the northern part needs to be cold like option B.

The other problem is the passages will be frozen over so you might not be able to travel through the full sea except for maybe summer, and that's a big maybe.

>> No.20496676

>>20496554
Wouldn't that also make them smaller?

>> No.20496787

>>20496610
Aight, if that means we don't need to move /inf/ that's fine, if that means we need to move it however many degrees upward that's fine too, just gotta figure out a number.
>>20496676
Yeah, if clocks want the island can be scaled to stay the same size though all the countries are a bit big as is.

>> No.20496905

>>20496787
I'd rather we stay the same size and not get shrank.
There was a bloody incident over /∞/ getting shank without notice before.

>> No.20497183

>>20496905
We get lots of bloody incidents kek. As I said none of those changes are happening without the /inf/ rep okay, I just moved it so I remember that's a thing while I work.

Perhaps, but this was the one where we scalped the previous GM. So it was pretty big, even for us.
