How are they singing if they didn't go to Japan? There's nothing magical about Japan. It's just about capturing data, you can do it from anywhere. Just their studio in Japan has better equipment. Ina and Ame likely travelled to some studio during the off collab, recorded something with subpar equipment and Cover took the next few weeks to fix any glitches or clean up the data and used that cleaned up data to render to thing.
