The problem that male vtubers have is that there's simply no market for them, unlike female vtubers having an avatar does nothing from them, most people already have their select group of male streamers that they like because there's a male streamer for literally anything someone could possibly be into, and if said hobby is fairly popular then there's bound to be a fairly popular male streamer for that hobby
