I guess I may as well bring up the topic of /nasa/'s potential minerals. We'll have to prospect the region ourselves. So far we got bituminous coal and shale oil confirmed. Shale's going to be tough to get without fracking. And bituminous coal is okay on its own to burn. However it is the best type of coal to make coke out of. Coke is an awesome fuel steel making. We can create an electric arc blast furnace to recycle our iron and steel. And if we find iron then we can use coke to make more steel. That said the problem is we lack the people and the infrastructure to build industrial coke refineries. Also if we're not careful burning coal (and refining coke) can lead to acid rain. This is just the long and short of what's going on right now.

Not really. China quickly changed their laws in regards to vTubers and online anonymity essentially banning them. Cover pulling out of China is expected with or without Coco. Firing Coco would have been a bigger disaster. That said TCP are just Jews at this point. Since Cover won't advertise Pokemon in China via bilibili streams then TCP don't really see a reason to give Cover unlimited permissions for Pokemon in regions where Pokemon is already number one.

Besides Cover getting permissions to play non-Pokemon games works out better in the end. Those companies need to advertise harder than Pokemon does. So there's more advertising and sponsorship money.

Good news: we have a market for space preserved food. We can use glass and tin canning with nitrogen gas to preserve dry goods and ration foods.

Bad news: It will take a quarter year to sail to /morig/ and KFP which is death. So we're going to have to negotiate a trade depot at /ggg/ to exchange our goods so the trip only takes 40 days instead of three months.

In better news by this weekend the rockets should be ready. We just need to fuel the rockets and we can lift the station out of the crater. Turns out the crater has vitubium in it. So we'll have that as a clean power source. We also have shale and coal as well. Its going to be a busy spring and summer building some basic infrastructure for lumber and mines. I think /nasa/ has entered an era of optimism. No wars yet. So knock on wood.

I've been thinking about how to make an anti-gravity stadium for /vtwbg/. One idea would be to put tiny wormholes at opposite ends and speen them in orbit. It looks like /nasa/ needs some sort of currency. We have gold and silver to trade with other nations. However I was thinking about having a different backed currency for /nasa/ based on fuel. Since fuel is needed to make about everything I'm wondering if we can have a "Fuel Credit" as an internal currency. You can use fuel credits to buy gold and silver but there's an exchange fee. Fuel credits are used to buy manufactured goods in /nasa/ like rations, tools, and even digital goods like video games and other software. I'm bringing this idea up to the thread because I have no clue how to make it work on my own.

My idea for using fuel as currency comes from money being an easy way to pay for energy. The more fuel you have the more currency you got to spend on luxury stuff. The less fuel you have then the less currency you can spend. There's also other factors like the cost of supply and demand for fuel along with the ship's goods in question. We are talking about a space station economy where all the goods are made on the station. Though eventually as /nasa/ gets more gold and silver then fuel credits could become obsolete as /nasa/ opens up stores to other nations. Fuel credits are also crypto, so you need a data pad to interact with them. Due to prime directive, non-/nasa/ natives won't be able to use fuel credits.
