Because there's not much crossover between Hololive and Holostars' viewership. The fact that they're popular on the Hololive side is irrelevant to the success of Holostars. I think the main thing is I don't really see a coherent image of what Holostars wants to be. They're mostly bros and they don't as a whole really pander that hard to fujos or yumejos. I think it's really hard to compete with nijisanji on that regard but they might be able to attract people who enjoys male idol's journey in a completely platonic non-parasocial way.
