Ollie is really bad for someone who has played as much as she has, but I won't fault her too much since she probably doesn't have a ton of prior fps experience.

Ame occasionally has some decent aim moments that I am surprised by, but her movement and game sense are trash.

Selen is clearly a very knowledgeable player. She excels at macro (rotations, etc) and has very good situational awareness and is quick and confident in her decision making. In those respects, she is definitely far beyond the level of a player who would find themselves hardstuck in diamond. But with that being said, it is obvious to any Apex player that Aqua is fucking nutty with her mechanics (aim, movement, etc) and is definitively better in that area than Selen, who is unexceptional mechanically. I don't have a good read on Aqua's macro decision making, so I can't compare them there.

We'll know more in a month. Selen is definitely washed, though, and I'd put her currently at mid to high Masters level (in a regular recent season).
This season is a bit weird because of the high amount of gold shitters who can rat upwards, which unfortunately will make it hard to compare Selen and Aqua's solo rank due to variation in quality of random teammates (plus the server differences). Generally agree with >>21217928 though.
Ame and Ollie... nowhere comparable to anyone who's anyone.

Of the people mentioned in this thread so far, I think Aqua has definitely tryharded the most in recent times. You can see it in her Ras strafes and slide-ADSing, which you see from APAC N pros. She's definitely watched that scene closely and learned from it.

It'd be one thing if this Selen vs Aqua timeloop was being argued by people who actually know how to play the game but it's mostly tourists who only watch one or the other and don't play Apex.

Mechanically Aqua is the better player and has better aim but Selen plays better in groups, is more versatile as she plays almost every hero and can fill roles as necessary, and has better game sense due to playing the game since season 1.

In a tournament setting you'd rather have Selen on your team but in pubs Aqua might carry you.
Unfortunately Selen gave up on JP tournaments because Qu graduated and she can't speak Japanese and Aqua is too autistic to play anything other than soloQ or unranked party games with other holos that are much worse than her.

It's hard to say because like most masters she will probably never commit to the insane grind it takes to hit pred for even one split. Selen actually hit pred and mechanically she is no better than aqua. Of course, people said she was carried there, and maybe there's an element of truth to that. The thing is, many preds are "carried" to pred because no one ever seriously plays solo in pred and someone always has to be the worst member in the team. I think aqua could hit pred with the right squad, I think Selen could do it again too. They might have to be carried pretty hard though.
