I always like to go back to this, when Takamori was near their "peak." Mori was always a stone cold bitch to her, and everyone liked to joke and play it off as tsun. Kiara herself probably bought into it just being tsun, and it took her a long time to accept that Mori really is, plain and simple, a bitch.
You could hear her heart break after the Shrek stream, when she tried to bring up the Valentine's song she made for Mori. Only for Mori to say she didn't even bother watching it. Kiara trucked on like the optimist she was and still kept up the act for everyone.
I think it really obviously started to fall apart when Mori tried to "make up" for that and pretend she listened to Kiara's King cover. At that point Kiara didn't even try to continue playing along, she just called Mori on her shit and moved on.

What we see now is Mori realizing she really fucked up by being a cunt to her. She's trying to be nice to Kiara again. But Kiara's been hurt one too many times.

I already said this somewhere before, but Kiara is the kind of person that never goes back once she stops trusting someone. She said once that old friends and people from her past try to contact her sometimes, but she never gives any of these people the time of the day because she genuinely doesn't trust they have good intentions towards her.
