Vtubing is a high "Household Expenditure" entertainment niche. Indonesia is poor and shitty with their dialects, natives, yearly floods that have been happening since forever, highest schizo cont in the world... vtubing is just too "ground-breaking" to work in a third world country. Maybe the Pekomoona arc worked because it wasn't leeching, anon. It felt like a honest developing friendship between two autists gushing about their favourite game.
It helps that it felt legitimate all the way through.
Their first encounter was pure randomness, they just happened to meet at the gate of the resource server. Had Moona stepped in a few seconds later, or Peko remembered to bring lapislazuli, the entire, month sprawling Pekomoon minecraft adventures would have never happened.
